It was only one possession, but he gave them a much needed boost when Leonard went out and he actually moved the ball . Penn State was better than Notre Dame if Drew Allar had been worth a damn, but Notre Dame doesn’t win that game w/o Angeli

Yeah because how could they possibly not see what is plain as day? I mean, you're at practice every day and your analysis of the first 40 minute of the orange and white game was a revelation

I can’t speak anything into existence. If I could, I would speak an experienced transfer QB with a stud WR, OL depth, a rotational DL ready for SEC play, and DBs to this team.

Without those pieces then our ceiling is low enough to bump our heads on. The roster is pretty good overall but it’s missing a few very important pieces that make it great.

I don’t get the argument about 6 wins though. It doesn’t matter if we talk about it or not. That’s a very poor job for his tenure, resources, and our upcoming schedule.

Now do I think we only get 6? If we don’t pull the above pieces, then I think it’s a possibility for sure.

This has been explained many times.

For 4 years now they've played 6 at most from the WR position.

They only use 2 WRs 40% of the time. So only a slot.guy is going to play 50-60% of the time and that's "1st_ team.

Heupel and company are going to let these young guys play!

Matthews
Staley
Jackson
Smith are all young WRs that can play for any team.

Hard to believe they can’t see this obvious problem. I imagine if these QBs are really telling them this then it would stick out like the sun. So either it isn’t true and they like the room (obviously still need to add numbers) or they are aware and working on it.

And each year we’ve had several wr’s get hurt! In ‘21 vjj and payton were hurt consistently, in ‘22 tillman was hurt most of the season, bru and thornton couldnt stay healthy. We are literally 1 injury from putting a walkon in the rotation, how is this not a problem?

I’m prepared for Slinger as the starter already.
I’m good with it. I think we need a 3rd QB for numbers. I’m pretty sure the coaches do too. Maybe they will sign one.

Every QB in the Spring portal plus all the others being discussed as possibilities that aren’t even in the portal are underwhelming. it’s a good thing that all we need is another backup. We’ll be fine.

Eh a Luke Altmyer or Rocco Becht would be pretty exciting if you ask me all things considered. But it’s just a tough pull. Both play for teams that were good last year and are expected to be good again this year.
