It's very funny to me that you see a 9-0 decision to facilitate his return and can't fathom a single option for a superpower beyond a question for show, a no, and then us throwing our hands up like we're powerless. I know no one here actually believes that

Per usual, this leads back to the original question you sidestepped. I'll ask again. What do you want Trump to do to "Facilitate" his return to the country he doesn't belong? Also, you not knowing anything about El Salvador, Bukele, and what he's done there is icing on the cake. haha

Are you looking for military action? You want Delta Force to breach the prison and get him out? You want to invade the country and take it over?

Do you want strict tariffs? Go down that road?

What do you want Trump to do to "Facilitate" his return to the country he doesn't belong?

Literally anything would be more of a step toward facilitation than the absolutely nothing he is currently doing. We've facilitated the return of many other prisoners from that very same facility without needing to send in the military so it's a very stupid question.

My turn. The highest court we have ordered them to facilitate his return. What would you do to comply with that order?

How do you know Trump has done nothing? Perhaps he asked. Did we have an actual need for these "Other prisoners" you speak of? It's not like he's out and about. He's exactly where he belongs. Completely agree. If mistakes are made and they probably will be (if they haven't been made already), of course el Salvador would allow them reentry to the US if we pressured.

No. The Supreme Court said the lower court order has basically expired, and they have to draft a new one. And they are implying that they probably lack authority to make anything meaningful happen.

The order properly requires the Government to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador. The intended scope of the term “effectuate” in the District Court’s order is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court’s authority. The District Court should clarify its directive, with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs. For its part, the Government should be prepared to share what it can con cerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps. The order heretofore entered by THE CHIEF JUSTICE is vacated.

Hell, I'll even answer the follow-up: as everyone here but you seems to realize, if Trump actually tried to get him back then he would already be back, and we also wouldn't have Bondi and Leavitt yelling every 5 seconds about how he's never coming back and we don't want him (ie the exact opposite of facilitating his return).

Now, again, how would you comply with the court order? All you seem to have are reasons why we can't possibly comply with a 9-0 Supreme Court decision

It says he has been here living with documented relatives for 12 years. The system has to move faster then that. Also, If he has been here 12 years going back would be quite the culture shock.
