He wasn’t legal.

Man, this **** is so crazy.

He had been approved for legal status, he just hadn't yet completed the adjustment of status process.

Both of us can claim to be right.

But regardless of the semantics of it, it is what it is, and why do we want to deport him? We are so fkn stupid. So, so stupid.

People defending this stuff is very disheartening

He came here illegally so there should have been no option for him to become a legal resident without him leaving the country and applying.

Makes no difference to me how he got here. He was following the process after he got here. You're trying to right an old wrong with a much worse wrong. It's fkn stupid, causes chaos, and benefits nobody.

More of the same stupidity. Deporting a legal taxpayer who is married to an American and has a child to provide for. This is the dumbest fkn admin imaginable.

“He had an order of deportation against him from 2018."

Even more so with him being here.

Probably should have been but it wasn't set up that way. He was illegal then legal and apparently legal when he was deported.

We don't use hearsay to determine guilt and innocence. Any convictions?
So your team beat your lady. Got it, weird outing but violence recognizes violence. Police record isn’t hearsay, her not showing up saved him.

Kill one, train a thousand.

Somehow you made this **** sound even dumber. You can send the message without making poor decisions that hurt American communities in the aftermath. You think a little campecino in Mexico potentially immigrating to the United States will know who this guy is and what happened to him? Hell no. This is not a justification. There are plenty worthy candidates to deport and continue to send the message. We are already doing this. You will latch onto any argument imaginable just to defend stupid evil. It's embarrassing.

There's pretty strong evidence that Elon Musk was working here illegally for a time, and he shouldn't be deported to (hopefully) teach a lesson to potential immigrants.

They literally got IRS data so they could go after the taxpayers, and now they're doing it, and we're going to be left with the mess while people scramble for reasons to claim that this is desirable.

Lol. If it sounds “dumb” to you then it makes sense to everyone else. Nobody cares about your idiotic obsession with illegal invaders.
