He wasn’t legal.
People defending this stuff is very dishearteningMan, this **** is so crazy.
He had been approved for legal status, he just hadn't yet completed the adjustment of status process.
Both of us can claim to be right.
But regardless of the semantics of it, it is what it is, and why do we want to deport him? We are so fkn stupid. So, so stupid.

He came here illegally so there should have been no option for him to become a legal resident without him leaving the country and applying.
More of the same stupidity. Deporting a legal taxpayer who is married to an American and has a child to provide for. This is the dumbest fkn admin imaginable.

Kill one, train a thousand.
Somehow you made this **** sound even dumber. You can send the message without making poor decisions that hurt American communities in the aftermath. You think a little campecino in Mexico potentially immigrating to the United States will know who this guy is and what happened to him? Hell no. This is not a justification. There are plenty worthy candidates to deport and continue to send the message. We are already doing this. You will latch onto any argument imaginable just to defend stupid evil. It's embarrassing.
There's pretty strong evidence that Elon Musk was working here illegally for a time, and he shouldn't be deported to (hopefully) teach a lesson to potential immigrants.
