I’m not seeing a whole lot that makes her any different that AOC.If she had an original thought she would oppose it. Instead she shills on social media. Why does it need to be implemented now?
Why is it BS?
As I understand it your passport already qualifies as a “real ID”
What are the negatives here?
Is the “real id” required to vote with the new legislation? The States are begging the Feds to delay it once again. They dont have the manpower to process everything.
The fact that Trump admin wont delay/scrap even with no benefit speaks to how much they actually love govt waste and bureaucracy...
Their goal is to make it harder to get a DL and therefore in some states, vote.

(Questions slice could answer himself if he wasn’t too laze to search it)
Here in georgia I literally didn't have to do anything different to get a real ID version of my drivers license. all I remember having to do was prove I lived where I claimed, which is standard, and check a box saying I wanted the Real ID version. I walked out 15 minutes later with one.More costly regulations....
The time for 350M people to research rules, prepare documents, drive to DMV, wait, produce documents, wait, get documents, and drive home is an inefficient use of resources.
For absolutely no benefit....
I’m not sure I’ve seen any government official , R or D that tries to make anything easier or the average citizenIts not but makes the process of doing anything at the DMV much more time consuming, such as getting updated or new license. DMV was understaffed before this requirement.
All of that makes it harder to vote, which is the Rs goal...

Did you include slack time for adhd? Here is the best case scenario
I spent 5 mins setting up reservatiom
10 mins reading and Gathering documents
15 min walk
15 min wait
10 mins for them to review docs
Pay cash
15 min walk back
5 min to get mail, review, etc
75 mins of waste * 350M for NO BENEFIT
And this is the best case scenario.
I believe the report was 10% don't have the docs required readily available. So now there's a delay to get a birth certificate, marriage license, etc just to prove your existence to govt. Here is the best case scenario

Maybe its different in TN than when I lived there, but I remember my license having an expiration date, and having to go to the DMV with proper paper work already. so I don't think you are adding all that much, if anything. Here is the best case scenario

the only paperwork I had to provide in Georgia was utility bills for the last two months, and my still valid but expiring drivers license. both of which would be required for standard drivers license renewal. or having a change of address with a current one. Real ID has been available in Georgia in 2012, I find it hard to believe people haven't had to go to the DMV for more than 13 years where this is an additional, onerous, task.
its not going to be anywhere close to 350 million all having to do it within the next two months. and there was nothing stopping you from making it a part of your standard DMV visit to remove most of the "waste" you are mentioning. what you are complaining about sounds like you didn't prepare for this before time, and are freaking out because its a last minute thing YOU have to do because of YOUR choices.
