That's a dumb take...There is a reason he isn’t in the SEC
Idk how you can feel sorry for someone who was making insane money and lost it bc they got greedy.
You sleep in the bed you make.
Another program will probably overpay for him and he will underproduce while Madden has a better collegiate career.
I think it was more of the antics that Nico & Co did, than asking for $. I feel like if he never threatened to sit out the playoff, didnt contact other team’s in the offseason, and skip practice we probably would’ve worked a deal and it wouldn’t have even left the coaches officeFacts!! If Nico had a Cam Ward type of season we would have paid him that $4MM without hesitation.

So who is responsible for managing expectations?
That's a dumb take...
Yeah and there's a reason Nico isn't in the SEC either but it doesn't necessarily mean he isn't good enough to play in the SEC. I guess cause Dalton Knecht, Chaz Lanier, Liam Doyle, etc didn't start in the SEC means they weren't/aren't good enough to play in the SEC as well.
Well, it says you are a well known member. Seemed like you might know something. Thanks for the reply.Better question, why the F are you asking me?
My expectations are of a delusional fan...before I ever saw Nico throw a ball I thought he was going to win us a Heisman. Now that he's bailed I'm hedging my bets on -insert next QB that is named starter-
But the real answer is both sides have their own expectations...when they aren't in alignment you get a situation like this. Staff & Heupel expectations weren't matching Nico's dad and they tried to act like they weren't replaceable so they were shown they are. I don't think either side "won" and I don't think either side is without fault, I do however think UT had to handled it the way they did to prevent much more issues.
But he didn't...so? Burns post is stupid and pointless...everybody would have been good with a raise if he deserved one, that's no big secret, and I think he would have gotten one had he played better.Facts!! If Nico had a Cam Ward type of season we would have paid him that $4MM without hesitation.

How in the hell is Tennessee at fault? He signed a contract...and then broke it because he is a pos scumbag.Better question, why the F are you asking me?

I still have all my joints. (Settle down @TrippieRedd )Didn’t know you were as old as @InVOLuntary , @BaldBiker , @SergeantVol , or @Orangeredblooded but here we are.
Seriously though, I’m praying for a fast recovery for you!

It will be very interesting to see how he performs in an NFL offense with 3 months to prepare on a team all learning on the fly. UCLA is no better- new coach.I agree. I think whoever gets Nico will get him on a bargain bin deal
wondering if someone finally got through to their camp on 1-year decisions vs 5-year decisions
the hit his potential NFL earnings took could be massive, and his PR/marketability took a monster hit
seeking an extra 1-2M for 2025 could have cost him 10-20M through 2030.
Grandpa Bill rehab camp is about the only option they have, and he's holding a Nico coupon
