2025 Transfer Portal

You keep saying things like “obvious to most” and talking about statistics when Tennessee averaged 87 points a game. Advance to the S16. Has a core returning and coveted freshmen class that will be develop through training camp and practices. Players in the portal put up numbers on bad teams and even good teams then go on to not replicate those same statistics. You or I can’t predict what the team outlook will be in the upcoming season. Maybe you are seeking something different from you observations but there’s no way possible you can believe you know better or are more qualified than Coach Caldwell to build a team. Or that suddenly she doesn’t have options because winning and players producing career numbers in her system.. a system that produce high marks on the Power-4 level is not selling to transfers. That’s fictional.
It was good except against the best in the SEC we were 0 and 8 that is the barrier we have to cross. Were not doing it without more consistent three point shooting, better rebounding, and defense. It is just not happening so great accomplishments sure, still not beating the top four unless you make changes to address your weaknesses. You can average 100 if your still losing to LSU, SC, Texas, Oklahoma it does not mean much.

Good for you, I respect your opinion. You and the few others will be saying that years from now about a conference record to no avail.
It’s irrelevant to me. Tennessee went on to finish the season with a S16 berth and ended the season ranked #15 in the country.
The coaches are qualified to select any roster than want and develop, mold it into the team they envision can win a championship.
I will watch it unfold and hopefully we advance past the S16 to reach their long-term goal which in year 1 they were only 4 wins shy.

Just want to win beat SC, LSU, Oklahoma, Vandy, Texas any of them. Maybe she will have the season of her life be a lot better than she has been in the past. That is what we would have to hope for so bring her on if she wants to come here.

UConn, Ohio State, Iowa, Ole Miss, Alabama, Richmond, and Florida State wanted to beat Tennessee but not many if any I bet when looking forward to next season is constantly dwelling on it nonstop like it’s the end of the world in one year. Especially not UConn. They went on to win the National Championship.

Only big positive I see for Robertson is she gives us speed depth. Which is something we desperately missed last season. The deeper we went, the slower we got. Nice to not lose that speed edge going deeper in your bench.

She can also score with pace. The games she struggled were against teams who turned it into a half court, slow game. We aren’t going to have many of those. If she can score 10pts that’s better than that position last year. We have plenty of room for some depth recruits at this point.

I also think some are under estimating how much emphasis Kim wants on the three. She just wants the best, quickest shot. We didn’t get enough easy layups in transition last season. A player like Nya can get you some of those.

If we’re targeting specifically we probably take a depth guard, a center, a depth forward and a three point specialist.

I’m willing to bet deep down it’s not this player that’s the issue for some, they just can’t accept the team signing players they aren’t fans of. If you’re a true fan even when it’s not what you prefer you kind of keep quiet and support any player the coaches bring in that they feel makes the team better. That’s why you really can’t get attached to players in this new era with NIL and the portal. Fans have way to much influence in collegiate sports even moreso than in professional sports.

I wouldn't focus too much on her field goal percentages, because apparently she had to put up a lot of shots for her team...she's 5'7", but CKC is talking about adding 10 more points to last seasons avg... we need bucket fillers too...LVFL 🧡

Who is they? He(me) said from day one that any players Coach Caldwell and her recruiting coordinators bring in I’m supporting 100%. If it’s Fulwiley or Nya. The difference in me and you is somehow you feel constantly quoting my opinion will force me to think like you do or stop sharing my thoughts. I don’t talk fantasy. I don’t think a player that leaves a top program that wants to play full time starter minutes and be a #1 scoring option is going to fit into Tennessee right now. Tennessee has 5 McDAAs and 6 players ranked in the Top 70. Fulwiley may compromise to play at LSU but that might no be the case at Tennessee. Tennessee has played SC multiple times with Fulwiley on the court and she never has been the best player for either team in close games. Fulwiley averaged like 11 ppg. Whether it’s Nya, Talaysia, or Fulwiley this same group of fans that look for arguments constantly don’t ever consistently acknowledge facts. Just like they have shifted from HS recruiting to the transfer portal after we landed a top HS recruiting class.

How can you compromise to play at LSU but not TN??!?!

There you go again downing a player who prolly isn’t interested in KC system.

You keep making excuses!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣

It is definitely her field goal percentage cause she has been there three seasons and that is her percentage for all three. So look for her to be around 33 percent overall and 30 from the three. She is actually much better from the three scoring 90 points per 100 shots.

Not an efficient scorer no way to turn her into one has too large of a resume as a 33 percent shooter. She can score some points if she gets enough shots to do it. I like her speed, and ball handling think she hurts you offensively unless you can reel her in on shot attempts. I guess her being a 10 minute player would be acceptable because of her athleticism. She can shoot you out of a game however 1 for 19 against North Carolina this season . Had some games where she shot like that and others where she was decent to excellent. It all came out to 33 percent. 1 in three so three years or it have to expect that is what she brings.

Are you in Fulwiley’s head? Does LSU substitute 5 in and 5 out? You think you’re being sarcastic and those little snarky comments are making your argument weak. If she’s not interested so be it. There’s three freshmen coming in that can play with high energy and create exciting plays as playmakers. If she’s interested then good we’ll see what happens.
You care more about where this player ends up than I do so get something out of the energy you put into it.

How do you know this? A player that was going enough for 2nd team All-ACC? LSU signed a player that averaged 5 ppg and to everyone else that’s an elite signing for there projected starter.
They are bringing in another player that supposedly is coming from a mid-major and her stats as a forward are not great but watch how their fans get behind the signing and won’t say well we are the only ones that wanted this player.

I bet this is the player WER was talking about the other day. I am sure she will be a Lady Vol we offer her more than she can get anywhere else.

I’ve been waiting on someone to say the reasoning a kid might not be interested is bc of KC substitution's.

He said we were getting a player and she is here so I just assume this is the one he was refering to. As far as I know she is the only one visiting here today. I don't know what your talking about that were the only ones that want her. I am talking about WER saying we had a player coming in that we would like. Some like and some don't she is going to be here I really believe that so 100 percent support.
