2025 Transfer Portal

We've been associated with Kara Dunn and she has a no contact tag as well. I don't exactly what it means could mean they have an agent to contaxt or they will do their own contacts to schools they are interested in. Would love to have Dunn and Ikananawa as well sre really efficient scorers and excellent defenders.
She probably ends up at NC St

Well Talaysia Cooper and Saniya Rivers look just as talented if not more than the guards currently playing at SC. Since Rivers played alongside them 3 years ago she took over the NC State program having great success. Coop was a freshmen behind 5 eventual WNBA draft picks and in her first year at Tennessee was one of the most talented two way players in the SEC. So I don’t think that holds much merit to say they couldn’t break the line up with the previous teams as if they were equal to the talented teams they enter college playing on as freshmen.
Also, Coach Caldwell has 5 McDonald’s All Americans following year 1. Her first high school recruiting class featured 3 McDAAs. We’ll see in a few years if those are the only two.

They all had one thing in common. They could not break into the line up. The NIL and transfer portal was much different for Cooper and Rivers than it will be for Fulwiley. You do realize that there are 10 McDonalds All-Americans on last year's team. There are only 2 coaches as of now that can pull that off. Geno and Dawn.

And why did she leave Knoxville again? Family health reason or her own. Can’t quite recall.
Mother having Cancer she went home during her redshirt sophomore season middle of the season she Left Tennessee.
It was talked about on here when she left.
I say if her mother wasn't sick she wouldn't have left while a season of basketball was going on.
Since she redshirt the year before because of leg injury.
Because the year Marta left Tennessee counts as one of her five years.
her COVID-19 year is next year..

Kneepkens visiting four schools…

IMO, she is the best available player left, I had ranked her second overall, but that’s just me. Tbh, she seems like a perfect fit at Oklahoma but I’m hoping she goes to UCLA if she doesn’t pick SC. As much as I’d like her to end up at SC, I think it would disrupt the team chemistry too much, effectively pushing Tessa Johnson to a backup role again and taking away minutes from the two incoming freshman who will play behind Tessa. Some would say it would be a good problem, how do you turn down a player like that? In this case I think SC should pass however. T Johnson can put up the same kind of numbers in a starters role.

"This is a replay of the Rivers girl a few years ago. She's now playing for NCST. Both are talented but not inclined to play within a team concept whatever the strategy on game day. The Duke game was MF at her worst. The starters tossed the ball into the bigs to leverage our advantage in the paint. We built a nice lead. Then MF and gang check-in. Despite being the #1 bench is all of WCBB, MF took the offense into her own hands driving through multiple defenders and launching bombs from well beyond the 3-pt line (and landing on the wrong foot). You could see the other four teammates were clueless as to what do they do. DS was right to bench MF in the NC game. As soon as she enters, she gets her dribble picked off. Then she drives the lane into multiple defenders and loses possession. Even last year, DS benched her first for poor defense last year and this year when she tried to do things all on her own. If she moves on, it will be a net gain. Now if DS can just recruit shooters (a DNA talent) and train them to play defense (a skill). Like Geno does!"

Then certainly no problem everybody is happy SC is happy that she is gone evidently can't play like they expect and Fulwiley is happy cause she needed more than 18 minutes a game. Great when things work out for everyone.

Definitely dtnvol, you can see the confidence and really the truth in Coach Caldwell words when she speaks to the media. No jargon. Straight to the facts. They averaged 87 points in year 1. That’s unheard.
Try out that exclusive forum and we’ll have another way to discuss it there’s Lambo🍊news dropping when Coach KC says so!
Funny story, one of the posters that’s negative here tried to jump in on the convo and got left on read so to speak lol. No one with credible input engaged in the dialogue. No negativity. Just good LV vibes the way a good group of us still bring to this forum which is getting back to reality. ESPN #8 preseason Lady Vols are locked in.
GBO🍊.

Man I loved that😍, especially the cut-ins...hilarious 😆😆

TN could also be looking just at portal players with 1 year remaining vs. those with 2 or 3. Remember, they have to balance out the classes and keep in mind playing time for freshmen as well as future playing time pitches for recruits in the upcoming classes ( 26, 27, etc.)

Agree two should definitely be seniors cause we have 8 returnees if no one leaves. You can sign another four and if you have players leave go big in the portal after next season.

I am reading some online stuff speculating 2-3 big announcements from the portal are likely coming within the next week, visits wrapping up for some. I don’t follow SM as you all know, probably best as that is likely all white noise anyway. But there are two players in particular that some sites say are close to deciding. Stay tuned over the next week or so.

I read that ND and UCLA may both be close to an announcement. One of the LSU sites I read also believes they have a big fish on the hook. Will be interesting to follow. Some team is also going to land Kneepkens, who is keeping things quiet, that will be huge news imo.

Also, as for Fulwiley, no news but here is the general thought pattern (I think she goes to the ACC, but I acknowledge it is just my thought pattern on her):

“Several top-tier college basketball programs are vying for the services of MiLaysia Fulwiley, including LSU, Indiana, TCU, Notre Dame, UConn, N.C. State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Louisville, Clemson, and Maryland. LSU, with its changing roster and need for backcourt talent, and Indiana, needing to fill a void left by a key player's departure, are mentioned as potential landing spots.Fulwiley has also been linked to other prominent programs, including Ole Miss, Louisville, and others. “

I don’t believe she would go to Ole Miss, Indiana, Clemson or UConn. The others seem all in play. LSU prob offers the biggest bag, but I don’t see that as a good fit with Johnson and Williams already there. I think UCLA is a darkhorse here, with the North Carolina ACC schools in play. Just my thoughts.
