Remember he was at ole miss before Illinois. He won’t be hard to coach up.Yea he would have been super nice during the winter…he’d be coming in never seeing a practice or our playbook…it just doesn’t make any sense another than this was planned by Nico’s camp all along to force UT’s hand and it’s looking like it backfired

Is now hinting next week we target a QB and might pay more than we did Nico. That's thumbing a nose if true.

He already was at 2.5 guess is 3 for new offer which is what we offered Nico in incentives. So bottom line kid turned down 2.5 + 500k incentives to try and get 4 at random college. If Nico is currently making 2million but will only stay at UT for 4million, I’m fine with paying a one year rental 2.5million until Faison gets here in 2026.
Meh. It's worse than the NFL now. At least they have a cap and it's a known when free agency, trades etc..It's not dead but it's wounded . I've just about quit following recruiting. Now probably just wait until fall practice to see who we have on the team. I'm hoping Merk takes the reigns and out preforms what Nico did last year.
Totally irrelevant. The buck stops with Nico.Ahhhh….but still huge gamble.just hard to understand he’s literally put his career on suicide.very disgraceful to witness knowing he’s a good, quiet and humble kid. nobody will sit here and say confidently say these actions are coming from Nico it’s not him.this was strategically planned by grown adults
