Well I don’t think that is booing players and this is a chat board. It’s been a pretty abysmal day of baseball for the Vols.

You think that Tony isn’t going to get all over his team after these two performances? I’d expect that he will say some unkind things about his team and possibly his own coaching decisions in his presser - he doesn’t sugar coat anything.

I just got it n the car after a long day of exercising my constitutional rights with the middle child.

Kept up with the end of game one on the forum while assembling. Now catching up with game 2 after cleaning and storing.

First two games I have missed on TV this year, I believe.

Pretty sure it is my fault. I will join @MAD in Publix purgatory.

Just got back home to Coffee County from the early game. Things did not look great today, but it wasn’t a long ride home like it could’ve been. Even though we lost and have a had a bad day on the field, my son had an absolute blast. He was cheering on every player from our section and his voice was well heard (he was by far the loudest). He also got a ball from Jay Abernathy, thank you Jay!! You made my little buddy’s day!! This team had a bad day, but we will come back stronger from this.

He gets to. Saying we suck or we are embarrassing on an Internet forum is insanity when we are the current #1 team in the land.

This day sucks. Our team is elite. That is all.

"This day sucks" and "this team is embarrassing today" are the same thing. If you aren't embarrassed by this showing, that's on you.

This team is #1 for 48 more hours and got embarrassed by a team that was below rock bottom. Sky may not be falling, but it sure is hell isn't hunky dory right now.

I’ve seen a TON of baseball in my life. This is about the worst DH I’ve ever had to witness.

I was expecting A&M to wake up this weekend but not like this.

Oh well. On to the next one

I guess it is on me then.

Not sure what I have to be embarrassed about. 🤷‍♂️. I am a middle aged man who roots for a bunch of young men in a sport I loved to play, loved to coach, and now love to watch.

If and when I figure out why I should be embarrassed about that I guess I will hang my head in shame.

Until then, I will keep watching and cheering for my Vols!

Losing a series to a vey talented team in the SEC is not the end of the world. Who gives a sh1t about being number one ? It really doesn't matter at all. What does matter is learning from it and getting better. Omaha is the goal. Be number 1 when it matters. Haters gonna hate. It is baseball.

Of course, but all of our points are that as long as we finish ranked 1-8 by the end of the year, this series will not matter to anybody. Baseball seasons are a marathon, not a sprint. There’s a reason a winning percentage above 60% is considered elite at the MLB level.

That talented team was 1-9 coming into today. Losing is one thing, not competing and giving up 11 home runs in a single day is another.
