I’m not worried about the team, I just hate that we have played such uninspired ball today. Honestly, this team has probably played over its skis most of the season. I never thought we’d be #1 this quickly again. Too many new faces. It’s probably good for them to not be #1 for awhile because I don’t think this team is the best team in the country.

I’m not worried about the team, I just hate that we have played such uninspired ball today. Honestly, this team has probably played over its skis most of the season. I never thought we’d be #1 this quickly again. Too many new faces. It’s probably good for them to not be #1 for awhile because I don’t think this team is the best team in the country.

In spurts they’ve absolutely played and looked like the #1 team in the country (and by a decent margin). They’ll bounce back and be fine. Let Arkansas enjoy it for a couple weeks.

Me too. Mostly for the “we quit” crowd. Tony recruits to his personality. As far as baseball goes, idk if I’ve seen a manager that gets as bothered by a singular loss as he does. He does everything he can within reason to win every game, even mid weeks. That’s not the typical college manager.

All that to say, these kids don’t want to lose either. They haven’t quit. Don’t be like the guys in left field from major league the movie. Booing your own team when they’re this good only hurts them, and makes you look like a jackass.

Eh. I don’t think the bottom 3rd of our lineup and bullpen are deep enough. I think we’re a great team, but we’ve also benefitted from an incredibly favorable schedule to start the year. Our “real” SEC schedule starts this upcoming weekend.

I will say maybe this is my fault. This is the first game all season my parents are watching my daughter and my wife is working so I can post here in a live game thread. Maybe I should make sure that doesn’t happen again
