UCLA has the best roster and a mediocre coach. They try to do what UConn does, Close is a Geno fan girl and protege. He pretty much always destroys her because nobody does Geno like Geno.

Kiki Rice was such a nice player but Cori Close has ruined her game imo. She is more efficient but way too cautious now. She was such a spark as a freshman, kinda like Rae Burrell, now you hardly notice her out there.

Interesting watching ucla get their butt handed to them. Still pretty amazing we beat this UConn team. They were still putting the pieces back together when we played and that was obviously a wake up call for them. Chen and Strong in particular have elevated their game a ton since our meeting.

I thought the way the game was called really favored the smaller team in this case UCONN. They got in UCLAs grill all night long and kept in contact every possession it was smothering D kudos to UCONN great game on O & D.

A couple of comments about yesterday's games.

First game - why did Vic pull B? Then why didn't he put her back? Did I miss something here?

Second game - I did not see that coming (and apparently UCLA didn't either). I've heard the name Sarah Strong but OMG she looks like the second comng.


As far as who to root for on Sunday. C'mon we have to go with the Cocks. They are in our conference. We can hate during the regular season. . .

If USC comes out with revenge on their mind and just playing too tight it may not go well. I thought the UT men's team came out vs Houston with so much amped up to get in the F4 for coach Barnes. They were tight as a drum for the first 10 minutes, especially ZZ & Mashack & Lanier and it was basically over with a too big of a hole. I've just heard some USC players saying it's a revenge game and playing tight came to my mind. We shall see.

Both Fudd and Strong played out of their minds, with Beuckers having an off night. Did not see a blow out either.
