2025 Transfer Portal

So, pretty sure that’s the entire Arizona team at this point. Some really nice players leaving there. AZ players have done well after transferring. Just way too toxic there.

Still totally shocked they didn’t fire Adia Barnes after this season. She’s gotta go, not good for their program or the game.

Guessing they just don’t wanna pay her buyout. Got a fat contract after their FF run and has been a disaster since.

Barnes said that players were trying to redshirt because of Nil so they could stay five years. Guess redshirting doesn't affect getting paid. Doubt many coaches will go along with that happening.

Dang, they all jumpin ship. Koval is a nice placer. Really good size, needs to get in better shape though. She’s worth pursuing with her eligibility and talent. Great frame, just a little slow, if she traded 10lbs of fat for 10 of muscle she’d be a problem in the SEC.

Clara Silva to TCU. Probably a good fit for her.

Lots of bigs in the portal this season so hopefully we can snag a couple good ones.

Lily Hansford in the portal out of Iowa State. Started at Oregon State. Was a knock down three point shooter as a freshman/sophomore but was awful last season at Iowa State. Shot was too slow and their offense wasn’t good enough to get her enough time for her shot. Went from 44% from three to 20%

6’2” big guard, I think she’s a player Kellie Harper will ride hard for. I think we wanted her when she transferred before we made the coaching change last season.

In the women's game, it is a really interesting dynamic. Olivia Miles opted out of the WNBA draft (projected as a 2 or 3) to use her 5th year of eligibility. As a WNBA rookie, her salary is capped at around 95K. Through the NIl, she will easy get 3 to 5 times that. I look for this to become a pattern. On that note, surprised Bueckers did not stay. She make a cool million by transferring to USC or UCLA.

Bueckers will likely earn WNBA max PLUS loads of personal endorsement deals, including many carryovers from NIL. For the top NIL earners, the money will follow them to the W.

But she still has a Hidalgo, and that's a player you can build around
True, but ND is losing Citron, Westbeld, King and others to graduation, as well as three or more to the portal. Ivey will have only three or four players , including HH, left to build around. Bringing in equivalent talent to two or three might be doable, but all of those departing?
