That isn't the only picture taken of them standing next to each other. There are more. I will post them, since someone is in denial.

EDIT : I take that back .... there are multiple photos but they were taken at the same venue, and on the same day. However, odds are that they had met each other. That photo was taken at an event in the French Embassy in 2021. It was an event that Waltz attended, a Q&A with a French filmmaker, that was moderated by Jeffrey Goldberg. In the original report in The Atlantic, Goldberg wrote that he had met Waltz before, but he didn't specify where. It does appear that Goldberg was the one telling the truth.

That picture should not be so quickly dismissed as "stupid,"

.... the fact that Goldberg's contact information was saved in Waltz's phone ....

AND ....

.... Goldberg says that they had met?

The odds are in favor of the two men having met.
