These guys are idiots. It's a different excuse every day. The problem is they are all Trump loyalists first. Most of them are unqualified for their positions or are so submissive to Trump they can't exercise their true intentions/sentiments. I hate to see Tulsi Gabbard sound so dumb all the time. Especially after the manner in which she was built up by the Trumpers as a reasoned moderate.

How could they make any more accurate guess than a Hamas leader?

Even if they did, was there any significant movement noted prior to the attack. I heard the general in the hearing say that there wasn't. Therefore, the Houthi didn't do the math.

Nothing about the attack had leaked, so the Houthis had no reason to scramble. But the only reason it didn't leak was because Jeffrey Goldberg chose to sit on it until after the bombing.

There was no reason for there to have been any movement from the Houthis because Goldberg didn't release the information until the attack was over. I guarantee you if he had, the Trump administration would not be calling that information "unclassified." They would be screaming for Goldberg to be charged with treason for releasing classified information prior to a military operation. Goldberg actually showed more concern for national security than Hegseth did. That's how bad the Trump clown show is performing.

He must think people listening to him are as stupid as he is.

I'm not going to give Goldberg credit for principle that he may not have had. I will take him at his word that he thought he was being scammed and didn't go to press immediately because he didn't want to be embarrassed (again).

Eh, I think he deserves some credit here. He didn't release the full text until the Trump administration basically called him a liar for saying that details of the military strike were in Hegseth's text. Even after Goldberg had confirmation from the Department of Defense that the text chain was authentic, he wasn't going to reveal all that he had .... until The White House forced his hand. Goldberg did show some discretion here.

Sure enough it was a screw up, but the Afghan withdrawal debacle and Austin MIA didnt get this much scrutiny..guess they have to clamp on something as it will be a long 4 years..Regardless,I would take a dozen of these before one day of ruling by those Boobs.

I truly am not being dramatic when I say that 4 more years of Obama/Biden/Harris leadership may have been the end of this country as we know it. Just having open borders for 4 more years to allow another 12 to 15 million unvetted invaders to come into our country AND immediately go on the "public dole" would have been catastrophic. Not to mention all the other completely insane BS they had going with the Green New Deal, the "trans" nonsense, pretending there are or have ever been more genders than male/female, the DEI bullcrap ( which is ACTUAL systemic racism btw) refusing to prosecute criminals, refusing to deport illegals convicted of crimes here, extreme weakness on the global level such as the Afghanistan withdrawal, "don't" , giving Billions to Iran trying to appease the enemy etc. The list of self destructive policy, abject failures, and embarrassment is nearly endless. It isn't hyperbole to state that the last election was life or death as it pertains to American exceptionalism and our normal way of life. Clearly millions of people who don't normally vote Republican felt the same way...Trump got more votes from black folks, latinos, and probably even Democrats than any Republican in history despite being a flawed and polarizing candidate. This despite the fact that Trump didn't have to just defeat the Dims...he had to defeat the Media, a couple assassins, and RINOs in his own party as well. Say what you want about Trump as a man, but his victories in '16 and in '24 are hands down the 2 most impressive political victories in my lifetime. The entire deck of cards was stacked against him both times.
