You posted an article and it just says an "official", and unnamed "official" is not the classification authority for DOD, the Secretary is.

Now if you have information from the White House, President or Secretary as to the classification of the material other than unclassified than I am all ears.

Right .... because those people will only tell you what you want to believe, because they are the ones responsible for the sensitive information being mishandled. You are an unconditional supporter and defender of Donald Trump, who will never admit that either he or members of his cabinet have been hypocritical and irresponsible in regards to their handling of classified information.

This is exactly what I'm talking about when I speak of cultish behavior from the MAGA crowd. You will only believe what Trump and his flunkies tell you to believe = CULTISH.

The White House is running out of ways to defend the reckless conduct of Mike Waltz and Pete Hegseth, so they want to deflect towards the reckless conduct of the Biden administration.

The reckless conduct of the Biden administration does not excuse their own reckless conduct, however. The Trump administration assured the American people that they would be better at securing sensitive and/or classified information than the Biden administration was, but now, they are basically saying, "So did the Bidens!"

She has a very tough job, but that is some weak sauce from Karoline Leavitt.

I think the half-life on this is going to be less than elon musk is a nazi, just my guess. The gags just don't really work anymore, I would say they stopped working completely about a year ago. 🤷‍♂️

How many times am I going to have to say this? The defense they are issuing is post facto. The are saying that the information that Hegseth disclosed is unclassified, but it does not matter now that the military operation has been completed. You can't retroactively declassify information from the time it was first revealed to the public (and providing information to a journalist is the same thing as "the public".) The damage was already done ... or could have been done. Hegseth revealed classified information. Period.

Exactly why I have basically excused myself from this forum (and "news" outlets) lately. I listen to children fuss and act like children all day long at work. The last thing I want to do is read grown ass men acting the same way.

I would say you are an unconditional defender of Donald Trump. There is nothing he or his administration could do, that you wouldn't defend. You are one of the "I could shoot somebody in the middle of 5th Avenue" people that Trump was talking about back in 2015.

.... and there will be an Inspector General probe of this breach. That is per Republican Senator Roger Wicker.
