The Trump apologists have lost some momentum. They provide most of the posts to the politics forum. There simply aren't many liberals here. It's fair to say that Goldberg spiced up his story a bit .... but Hegseth did mishandle classified information. There is no getting around it now.

Targets: the name of the chat was "Houthi small group." The Houthis wouldn't have needed to know the exact targets in order to react.

I understand what you're saying. ND40 agrees the info was detailed enough to be a foul up.
But these "details" don't mean anything to me. I know weapon systems and times. How I could use that to my advantage, if I were so inclined, is a mystery to me.

If you were one of the targets you would have enough to know that you should move. But where?

A weapons package and weapons delivery system are two different things and yeah PH did name the delivery systems being used but F-18s and Tomahawks can deliver several different weapons packages.

I would think knowing the method and timing of delivery would be more useful than what, specifically, is being delivered.

I already have. You could just read through the thread. A lot of the MAGA crowd likes to say that I repeat myself constantly but posts like the one above is why I do it. I am constantly asked questions that have already been answered.

Hegseth mishandled classified information. That's correct. I'm not reposting things that you can find by looking back through the damn thread.

They knew any attack was coming from the air, knowing it would be an F-18 or Tomahawk wouldn't help you very much. Knowing what ordinance they were going to use would be much more useful. It would be like knowing if the guy on the street was going to shoot you or stab you, you have a chance to prepare a proper defense.
