But you are even wrong on that, I have said where the problems are and even my opinion on the matter which is not directly in line. But at the end of the day, most of this is their call. You made factual claims, all I have done is asked you where you came up with the facts.

That is the thing, he can't lie as he is the classification authority. President Trump could come in and retro it but that is about it unless someone has something else????? I'm all ears, I can't come up with anything.

Can Congress or an Inspector General say it should have been classified, sure, but that is just their opinion on war matters... those opinions really don't have any weight as to classification, not really.

How many times do I have to say this?

You can't retroactively declassify information. It does not matter what they say now. The information that Pete Hegseth disclosed on the Signal group chat was classified at the time he revealed it on March 11th .... and of course, it would be classified info. It discussed a pending military operation in details.

Hegseth could have declassified it at the time, if he had announced to the group either before or during the chat that his information was unclassified, but he didn't do that. It's a good thing he didn't do that too, because then Goldberg would have been at liberty to put it in the internet for the whole world to see.

There is no defense for this. Pete Hegseth disclosed classified information on an unauthorized mobile app to someone without the necessary security clearance to receive it. PERIOD.

They declassify things all the time, not sure what you are talking about. This is typical how the public is brief or in news conferences even.

There is one hiccup, and one would have to get into the details. If the information was originally owned by another agency than there other steps. In this case, he was the owner of the information.

That seems like an ineffective system of classificiation.

Marco Rubio has already called it a big mistake .... and the national security team had nothing to gain by allowing Jeffrey Goldberg on that Signal chat. The information supplied on that chat was accurate to how the strike in Yemen was conducted.

You are another unconditional defender of Trump, who is desperately grasping for straws.
