It seems to me (not a vet) care has improved over last 40 years. The bureaucratic issues have gotten worse.

I was listening to NPR today and they reminded their listeners that they should keep getting their boosters shots because Covid is still “out there.” They see a lot of people still wearing masks, they said.

Spot on, a lot of my friends including my wife vow that my healthcare is a lot better than the medi-care they are on. I have never had the VA fail to go all out on solving any health issues I may have. I had a heart ablation and three days latter I was on the lake fishing with my younger brother and my cardiologist called to see how I was doing. My brother couldn't believe that he took the time to call me personally..

I'm glad to hear that.

I am a small government dude but I feel we owe an ongoing debt to vets and providing care is a obligation we should uphold.

That's what I like about Thomas Massie. He's consistent and sticks to his principles, unlike folks like Lindsey Graham who flip flop whenever it's politically expedient to do so.
