If Okut for MSST enters the portal, I think she would be a good pickup for Kim down low. At 6’6,’ she moves very good, quick, strong build, has the ability to handle the ball, shot blocker and can steal the ball.

True. The portal has its advantages as well as disadvantages.
That’s why it was such a huge success for Coach Caldwell to put together a great 1st transfer portal class and 1st high school recruiting class in less than a year.
Her upcoming portal class doesn’t have to be the best players available talent wise but 2-3 players with potential to grow and develop in the system.

Getting a few plug and play posts would be optimal.

When the Vols beat Vandy, here are the most important games to cheer for the underdog to help our chances to host the NCAAs. Interestingly, two of them are the night games in the SEC tourney.
1. Ole Miss vs Mississippi (most likely upset of the 4, IMO) - 6:00
2 Bama vs. Florida - 8:30
3. North Carolina vs. Boston College (11 am)
4. Kansas State vs. Central Florida. (noon)

It’s a reason its taken Alyssa Latham awhile to adjust to this system and now she’s starting to come into her own. Alyssa Latham coming from Syracuse was a plug and play player in most systems. This system is different and won’t fit a lot of post players entering the portal in my opinion.
It’s certainly a dream of fans to fill every need perfectly through the portal or high school classes year to year which Coach Caldwell in year 1 has done as good as any coach in WBB. I think they’ll identify the best fit(s) to add the size and depth they need to complete the roster. This LV roster next season with a few spots left to fill is arguably the most talented in the SEC regardless of the portal additions.

#1) Brooks in year one at KY has done an amazing job considering where that program was when he got there. He gets the nod.

#2) It will be a good roster, but it won’t be the most talented in the SEC.

If it wasn't for the NIL and the don't have to sit out a year anymore rule. There wouldn't be so much in this unstructured chaos. Hard to believe there wasn't rules ready to be implemented in this new pay for play era. Before individuals start, the NIL is pay for play just the legal kind.

Kellie Jolly Harper has become soooo much more comfortable and natural on set (and so quickly!) that I find myself kinda hoping she postpones any attempt to get back into coaching for a bit and can carve out a regular spot as a sports analyst. I don't know how much she knows about other sports, but I know she's super bright and could probably do it.

Like somebody else posted yesterday I think, no other league's teams that played on the first day of their tournaments are going to be as strong as the SEC's bottom (including us when we're not running on fumes). Our conference's worst have, except for A&M, looked really competitive, and this tournament has been terrific so far.

Despite me being an admirer of this Alabama team and their coach, I'm not shocked Florida ended up beating Bama tonight based on how tough they've been lately. Gotta love the idea of a team finding magic in post season. Good for them!

Hmmmmm. Kellie is missing from the set of SEC Now for the post-game show following the last game. Makes my mind swirl.
