I am sure the refs planned this scenario out didn’t they . Every time we lose it’s rigged right?

It is true. Refs are at fault every time we lose. I didnt watch this game so could be true. But often, it's more the case that we just didn't take control.

Tough loss for the Vols on the road vs Mississippi. Stats of the game reflects the score, basically even in every category except for offensive rebounds and shots . Ole Miss had 14 more shot attempts than the Vols and had 5 more offensive rebounds.plus we had no answer for Brakefield in 2nd half..

Need to regroup and finish our regular season out on winning note vs South Carolina.

The officiating may have been a factor but that wasn't the only reason Tennessee lost the game. Once again Brakefield scored 19 2nd half points and we had no answer for him on the defensive end.

In a sense, yea, but this happens with every loss. He never takes the blame, always deflects it

Really need to land this kid. I know it’s been debated on what position Wyatt would play, but the two of them as true freshman could come in and elevate our WR room to the best in the conference if Mike Matthews and Staley make a big jump this upcoming season

What puzzles me is that we're built for defense. Defense and rebounding are really about effort. You can't always control your offensive performance, but you can control your defensive effort. Surprising to see how we played down low and on the boards with so much on the line last night. It's not as if Ole Miss was a superior talent like Auburn or Duke. Were we still sick? Tired? Gotta think the Barnes decision to roll with a short bench is partially responsible. Know Carr and Estrella were not expected, but shouldn't a coach expect just that to happen and prepare accordingly? Yet another opportunity squandered. Not unexpected.

Why would you expect a guy to quit mid season? Never really seen it happen. You aren’t filling the last 2 spots with dynamic players when you bring in 2-3 transfers and have two sophomores developing.
