The problems with this silver lining is that 1) we already knew there was tons of wasteful spending, 2) corruption? if we uncovered it, who is going down?, and 3) we're not going to be less wasteful even if it was a lesson learned.

I'd say it's pretty telling the frequency at which the reasonable right-wingers are posting ITT. Of course, the partisan time-wasters are going full tilt, still. There was a lot more buzz a couple weeks ago from the people actually worth conversing with. I assume a lot more people are realizing:
