I don’t find it distracting. Just a guess, a group approached the president wanting him to back Pete Rose for the HOF. He signed a pardon and tweeted about it. It’s not a big deal either way. I don’t agree with everything that he does but no one out works him.If you enjoy the distractions, more power to you.

Many folks that served in his last administration would disagree with that last point. I'll trust their first hand experience. Obviously I don't like the guy and don't buy into all the cult-like adoration, but I still want the US to be successful, so I'm not rooting against him. I just think this has been a pretty rough start and it would be nice if he wasn't totally ignoring the main issue that got him elected (inflation). Instead...prices are going up. I think stuff like this, DEI, Gulf of America, etc are just distractions from the real issues that aren't being addressed.I don’t find it distracting. Joe Biden’s 577 vacation days over four-year term tops modern presidents
Joe Biden took more days off than any other president in a single four-year term in at least the last 50 years, new data shows.nypost.com
I think both sides of the aisle are cult like. It has been proven that many in his last administration lied about him. I agree with Ice T… Republicans and Democrats are a different wing of the same bird. Trump is not in the club. He signed a few executive orders to open up and lower our energy costs. Im assuming that he is not responsible for prices up or down at this current moment. Many folks that served in his last administration would disagree with that last point. It's wild. They are completely convinced and will argue til death. As a science guy this boggles and blows my mind. How can anyone who is not brain dead or mentally ill believe the earth is flat? I guess the same people who believed that Biden was coherent and aliens built the pyramids.
OK, I am sick and tired of this 'anti-flat earth' movement. I look at the horizon and I'm not seeing it 'bend'. Clearly tis Flat. It's wild. They are completely convinced and will argue til death.
One girl claims space is fake and our missiles only fly to a certain point before arching over and landing far away in the sea. She claims all the rocket and shuttle disasters are due to them getting too close to and hitting the firmament.
Crazy to think aliens built the pyramids. Almost as crazy as thinking they did it in 20 years with sheer man power, ropes and logs.
One of the cool things I've seen in this mess is the mirages in the sky, where the light bends and shows a full city from 100+ miles away in the sky. One was Chicago across the great lakes, that was cool. There's another one in china that's pretty wild looking too. Of course they claim it's no mirage,OK, I am sick and tired of this 'anti-flat earth' movement. I look at the horizon and I"m not seeing it 'bend'. Clearly tis Flat.
A lot of the same folks that bought into the QAnon stuff and all the BS on FB and TikTok. Those are pure disinformation highways and spreading BS can make you some money these days. You could take a flat-earther and shoot their a$$ into space and it wouldn't change their mind. People are too locked-in these days and they don't even consider that they might be wrong. I don’t recall exactly who said this, but it was a former governor who was asked about how he was so successful in working to pass a lot of bipartisan legislation. He said that he always asked himself, "what if I'm wrong?" Smart and humble man.As a science guy this boggles and blows my mind. And, this is one reason I spend less and less time on FB and other Social Media sites. It's depressing to see how many people don't care to use the critical thinking skills that god gave them.A lot of the same folks that bought into the QAnon stuff and all the BS on FB and TikTok. I just thought Bill Nye was funnyA common mistake in our history books is stating that the debate about Columbus sailing to the New World was people arguing the world was flat.
NO ONE in Columbus' day thought the earth was flat. There had been mathematical formulas dating back to Ptolemaic Egypt in 300 BC based on arrangement of stars and geographical estimates of our globe that had proven the Earth was round. People in Columbus' era had all this information.
The big debate in Columbus' time was the size of the Earth. Columbus actually bought into the wrong theory of a smaller Earth. His critics argued the Earth was larger (some getting the exact size right) and theorized that Columbus' expedition would run out of supplies before reaching Asia.
None of them counting on Columbus discovering an entirely new continent.
I think a big problem is people don't consider how dumb they actually are and when they are convinced of something their too dumb to consider that they could be wrong. And, this is one reason I spend less and less time on FB and other Social Media sites.
