Inflation was worldwide, with myriad causes, not least of which was the insane amount of stmulus money pumped into the economy during COVID. :checks notes: Both Trump and Biden were responsible for trillions each in free money, but of course the whole thing gets politicked and nobody really wants to know why prices go up, they just want to blame the other guy.

And then there are the non-POTUS reasons as well. Like dead chickens. Lots of dead chickens.

I’d love to go to an Australian Open before I croak. It’s my favorite tournament to watch and Melbourne looks like an amazing city.

Only thing I have against the Aussies is how they so easily bowed to tyranny during Covid. We were bad enough, but they took it to another level.

Maybe there was a reason for that. Did you notice they had a lower mortality rate than we did?

Well I paid $9.50 for a dozen yesterday. The Omelette I made didn't taste no different from the eggs I paid $2.79 for. Actually it would be a Bigger and Better America with lower egg prices.

it's all cyclical. praying for our leaders everyday. whomever, even combovers and hair plugs ...we are all God's children.

Btw, I have a praise id like to share. In last month, our family has had quite a lot of medical stuff going on. Id just like to say that God is amazing. End of story.

We live close to a couple of different folks raising layers and we currently buy from them. One charges 2.50 per dozen and the other is charging 3.00. Lots of folks don't realize that it takes 8 or 9 months generally for a chick to start laying regularly. Prices will probably remain very high through the summer until the layer population recovers .. FWIW,, most co ops start selling chicks the 2nd week of March if you want to raise your own.
