Eric Adams, so far 6 attorneys have resigned

Damn libtard who clerked for ...[checks notes] ... Scalia.

Does that resignation letter say the AG who resigned had been on the job for 3 weeks?

I'd be interested to see Bove's letter instructing the AG to dismiss the case. It may be out there, but I haven't yet seen it. Without it, I think it is fair to have questions about the details alleged in this particular attorney's resignation. (Since we are now so concerned about government officials claims being made publicly "without evidence".)

The acceptance letter of this AG's resignation seems to contradict many of the claims made by the AG, specifically those related to the Bove memo.

And to think, no one from Cleveland called out your (rich) high horse for having to deal with most everyone else's everyday problems. Just kidding. I grew up in Cleveland. Thanks for the great Halloween times ( not kidding about that)
Moved out into the country and do miss doing the Halloween thing although we go down there every year. We always hosted a party with friends.

Soon after making the remarks, the mayor backtracked, telling The Post “there seems to be a misunderstanding.”

“Let me be very clear, I am not opening the door to civil immigration enforcement with the federal government,” he said in a statement.

The issue is the executive branch telling the judiciary when and when not to enforce the law. For all the hue and cry there has never been anything to show that Biden directed the DOJ to prosecute Trump, whereas we know for a fact that team Trump is causing the charges to be dropped against Adams.

There is more than one level of "Constitutional Crisis." This isn't the Senate ordering that the House of Representatives be dissolved. But it also isn't something minor that can be ignored. Its in the middle.

And the fact that a Scalia law clerk/Federalist Society/Trump appointed lawyer is crying foul over it gives you a pretty good indication of just how brazen the politics are. Personally, I found the report that Bove ordered destruction of notes of their meeting even more disturbing than the Adams prosecution order.

shocked you amplify this while downplaying actions for your team. it's all bad and it's all wrong.

Gov. Kathy Hochul doesn’t rule out Removing Eric Adams From Office following allegations NYC mayor was involved in ‘quid pro quo’ with DOJ

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday night didn’t rule out removing Mayor Eric Adams from office after allegations emerged that the feds would drop their criminal case against Hizzoner in exchange for his help with President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

Hochul, the only official in the state who has the power to boot Adams from his position, revealed on MSNBC that she’s consulting with officials about the mayor’s future.

Okay, so if I was to get this right, someone is claiming there is a "quid pro quo", so in exchange for dropping the charges he promises to following existing federal law?

Even if true, that seems more akin of a settlement of the charges.

I guess someone could say that isn't a great deal, but I think that is about it.

(I am only discussing as if this were true not that they are true)

He would have to give me more information that you couldn't dismiss the charges because the indicted has agreed to follow policy which is federal law.

I was ticketed when I was kid for speeding, DA brought me into the office with the cop.... and they said did you do it? I said I was over. The DA said, you going to watch your speed, I said I would do my best. He said, we'll drop everything and be careful. (true story)

A prosecutor is still a political position, which is why Obama, Biden and Hillary are still free... if it was merely on the law and fact, they would have been indicted long ago.

(I am assuming the facts are correct for discussion purposes)

That "career move" by Matt Colangelo from DOJ to a state's DA office in NY was interesting.

So you want us to turn our eyes away from just how severe the Fed has been buttf****** us, with no lube, no relief, nothing! to feel sorry for a group of lawyers that lost their jobs and will be completely fine?

This is why the democrats are losing. America tells you to fix the border, ya’ll spend all your time ensuring men can play women’s sports. America tells you they are happy Federal waste, fraud, and abuse is under investigation, and yall cry about lawyers getting fired and the Gulf of America. Yall haven’t learned anything.

Prosecutors were prepping to charge Eric Adams with Destroying Evidence, Manhattan US attorney’s resignation letter reveals

Manhattan federal prosecutors were prepared to bring a new bombshell indictment charging Mayor Eric Adams with destroying evidence and telling people to lie to the FBI, a letter obtained by The Post reveals.

The Manhattan feds’ proposed new expanded indictment “would add an obstruction conspiracy count based on evidence that Adams destroyed and instructed others to destroy evidence and provide false information to the FBI,” reads the stunning letter, sent by Sassoon Wednesday to US Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The crime of telling people to lie to the FBI is an interesting one given the context of some members of Congres telling people how to lie to ICE, and trick them.

And if I am reading this correctly this wasn't the only thing he was being investigated for. Still curious to see what the charges are.

Right, because federal prosecutors are NEVER replaced every time a new administration takes office 🙄
