2024 Presidential Race

If they can't articulate why their views changed, no.

Why have yours changed?
On those issues you posted earlier, I've mellowed (aka become more liberal) because my appreciation of the Constitution changed. Personal liberty is the pinnacle of freedoms. I don't want what others find distasteful to be unlawful to me. So, I don't want big government mandating what others cant do just because I find it distasteful.

Make sense?

Makes perfect sense to me and my views moderated pretty much for the same reasons. Other views/stances of mine have gone harder right or more conservative (if you want to use that label) as I've grown older.

Such as?

She'll be in Harris' cabinet if Harris is installed (which is extremely likely to happen) and if somehow Trump wins she'll be a regular on CNN/MSNBC/FOX or other newstainment network so she'll land on her feet either way.
Well you whiffed on Michelle being the ticket topper. Here’s hoping you aren’t suddenly Nostradamus.

Spending, federal power and patriotism to name a few. On spending and the growth, power and reach of the federal government some might call me radical. As for patriotism, I don't understand it anymore, don't know what a patriot is or why symbols of patriotism are revered.

The last point surprised me. You were in the armed service?

She actually knows something about mining and energy. Would be better at DOE than most of the alternatives.

Trump is the epitome of "divisiveness." He also promotes division based on race. He's done it for decades and still exploits racial resentments on a weekly basis to shore up support amongst those angry at the country's shifting demographics.

What on Earth makes you think Trump would do anything to change that?!?!?! To the contrary, he is funded and supports the big banks making gobs of money off of credit cards and his tax proposals would hurt the lower and middle classes, not help them.

Trump supporters throw around rhetorical ploys about economic struggles of the working poor and others of a similar class, yet they support a candidate who will hurt them, not help them.
Think you are confused with Obama

Lie, Cheat, and Steal is what the left does best

A young Democrat town council member down here in SWVA got busted for election fraud over the summer. It's par for the course- "democracy" isn't actually a real thing for these people, which is why I always laugh at the "Kamala protecting democracy" or whatever signs.

The ultimate example of the foolish wastefulness of her advertising strategy has to be the untold millions she has spent on ads for SEC football games the past few weeks. I mean; I was seeing Harris ads during the Tennessee Alabama game 😳. Two states that are among the redist in America. Like she has any chance whatsoever to pick up a single vote in the EC. She might as well have put a match to a pile of money
No need to run ads to the audience that is against dudes playing in girls sports.

You heard it from me. This thing is entirely too close for whatever reason. I'm not going to gloat though I would be relieved. I'm more interested in media reaction if he wins. That is where our real problems with dishonestly lies. I will have disappointment if Trump doesn't win.

Economically I will probably survive though real wages have been diminished since 2021 and would continue. I would worry about the American Dream for future generations because the government seems more in the business of sewing the seeds for divisiveness and picking winners and losers based on sex and skin color. Getting a starter home today in a decent area is almost a pipe dream for more Americans who are getting by on credit card debt.
Good post, and I too am very interested in the media reaction, particularly with a Trump win. The news media only has about a 30 percent approval rating at the moment.
