I have to say, I'm loving this new playoff and NIL. VOLS are doing alright, and look at the teams in this thing-- You got Indiana, Navy and Army etc. When the committee starts (I guess it's on election day?) then they'll figure out how tough everyone's schedule was and where they should be, but I think this is fun.

Yup.

11 years ago all but 6-8 teams would be checking out already. Even last year, only ~10-15 teams would be in the race. Now you have a solid 25-30 teams still with hopes.

Shoule cut down on early opt outs as well. Buy-in across many teams will be high righy through to the last game.

For what it’s worth…espn has a two leg underdog parlay Vanderbilt and Wisconsin over their opponents…personally I think it’s Wisconsin

Ya if our offense plays like second half of Bama, we win. But our offense hasn't played their best on the road much in the last few years.

There are too many gumps and gatas in high places of SEC power and within the media, for there not to be a narrative against the VOLS. The SEC kick off show panel Saturday consisted of 2 gatas and 3 bamars, counting Paul and an ex bama QB called our game. We need more TENNESSEE flavor or really just less rivals, in the media. The jabs towards the VOLS are ridiculous.

And to your point about the homers in the sports media, now here Pawl and D.A. Roman Harper are on Pawl's show whining about Bama losing...of course they give ZERO credit to UT for actually beating them...we're not good, it's all Bama's own fault they got beat.
