I think you can put Ole miss and Bama on the outside looking in. They have no room for error and both still have tough games left.

None of LSU's remaining games are gimmies.
aTm has USCe and Texas, and LSU/aTm still have a head to head.

Lots still to play out.

I think the floor is 4 SEC teams, with a better than average chance at 5.

Oregon has a tough schedule ahead. Hosting Illinois and traveling to Michigan in the next two weeks. If they survive those they could overlook Maryland or at Wisconsin before hosting Washington to end the season. Don't see them going unscathed but they could.

Ohio State has to go to Happy Valley Nov 2. Hope James Franklin finally gets his signature win lol. The lucky SOBs get Indiana and Michigan at home to end the season.

Penn State has to avoid getting upset this weekend on the road against Wisconsin. Then hosting Ohio State. At Minnesota Nov 23rd is not going to be fun.

Miami has an absolute cakewalk of a schedule. Get this: They haven't played a single currently ranked team. They end with FSU, Duke, at Georgia Tech, Wake, and at Syracuse. They've won 3 of 7 by 1 score. The ACC is a joke for that schedule.

Clemson hosts Louisville next week then goes to Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh back to back. Ends with South Carolina. They have to win out imo then thrash Miami in the ACC championship for a spot.

Now do tennessee

A side note:

Jerry Palm is such a hack. He has refused to give the Vols any credit whatsoever for any win this year and still has them missing the CFP after the win last night. I am not going to link to his article because that would give him credit and more clicks. Just sick of his BS when we are a legitimately good team that deserves more credit than that. That is all.

No other polls or lists matter. Only the Playoff ranking counts. Ignore the rest. If we win our games we’re in.

IMO, 4 is the most likely for the SEC. Three is also pretty possible with there being a near 0% chance for 5 SEC teams to get in.

Well... Without knowing how other teams finish in other conferences,I still think it's very possible.

Indiana is hot right now, but what happens if they lose a couple times?

How did the committee look at Miami if they lose? Their schedule is so weak... Even at 11-1, how do they compare to 10-2 sec team?

Clemson, kinda the same thing. Either way, I'm not sure the acc gets 2 in.

BIG, max is 4, but I think at the end of the day Oregon, PSU and OSU are the 3. Big 12...1. g5 1.

There gonna have fill all the spots and if in a situation where you are comparing 8ish teams with the same records... If have to think the SEC teams have a leg up.
