Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I don't like it anymore. Grew up in the Antioch area, downtown used to have personality, different interesting stuff all over the place. Now everything but corporate backed generic clubs, bars and restaurants. Not much organic Nashville available there anymore.

And that's spilled over into West End now as well.
Sad when I visit there now. The character has been ripped out.

But sadly this is happening everywhere. Between PE and corporatism everywhere, every city looks alike.

Midtown and predominately East is where the cool stuff is nowadays

They're playing in Nashville tonight!
Don't miss it!

I completely missed their 2nd album of 2023, The Silver Cord.

I'm used to them playing 3 different genres of rock in a 2.5 hr set. Last night they had done their usual 3 within 2 hrs...then blew my mind with a 30 min House set off that album.

Just a freakin experience everytime we see them. And their traveling fans make for such great crowds.

Arion Carter is going to be talked about for a long time. I love the leadership and mindset from him
Guys, back in the 90s early 2000s I use to seriously worry about the health/safety of opposing players especially the UTC of the world. We had some really stout defensive players.

I’m starting to get that feeling 💪🏻🧡🍊👊🏻

I live in downtown Franklin.............and never go to downtown Nashville unless it's for a game or concert......
It's ridiculous the crap and the people.

Smaller mid-sized towns are where it's at now.
To each their own. Have friends and my sister that absolutely love living in ATL and Nashville because, yes, there is an abundance of things to do there, they enjoy the bigger city buzz, and cosmopolitan feel. And we're very happy to visit and enjoy those amenities temporarily.

I've just always been a small town guy. Always liked the tighter knit feel of Asheville and Knoxville. And close to outdoors, more importantly. Give me nature, smaller communities, and music over more people and "stuff". Jmo

I get that was the joke, but twas many of the same laughs folks had at Kirby lol.
