Pretty cool story here. NSIAP. There is a catcher who was playing for the Blue Jays, Danny Jansen, on June 26. He started for them against the Red Sox on that day. The rains came and the game was suspended in the second inning and was scheduled to be completed on August 26th. In the meantime, Jansen was traded from the Blue Jays to the Red Sox. When the game resumed on August 26th, he was in the lineup for the Red Sox. He is the only player in history to play for opposing teams in the same game. This is another of the many reasons why baseball is the Grand Old Game. Box score is below. You're welcome.

I realize you support your team. After thinking about it a bit more, I kinda am a hater. I want him to fail miserably because of his hubris and his seemingly udder complete lack of compassion and humbleness. Absolutely phenomenal player. Mediocre coach to this point, IMO.

That’s an impressive program with a winning tradition.
9 national championships since 2011.

Overall, NDSU was 9-4 against FBS teams, including wins over No. 13-ranked Iowa in 2016 (23-21), Iowa State in 2014 (34-14), Kansas State in 2013 (24-21), Colorado State in 2012 (22-7), Minnesota in 2011 (37-24) and Kansas in 2010 (6-3). The Bison's six-game FBS winning streak was snapped by Arizona in 2022.

It’s not like Colorado was playing Alcorn St.

Wasn't this a new coach this year? Very good record against FBS. Still, they level of talent they have is not comparable to Colorado's. Not even close, IMO.

I haven't followed him a lot, just what we see in the media.

I like the idea of trying to turn boys into men, but some of the stuff is a little too dividing for me. He seems to use hate as a motivator too often and he doesnt seem to really care about most of the players at all.

Colorado sucks monkey nuggets. All hype and nothing to back it up. They're basically playing UTC, compare this game with what is going to happen Saturday. Sanders is not a first round qb, if he played in the SEC he'd have five ints a game. Hunter has been allowed to get away with murder, he should have had 10 PI's. Deion is poison, he has been everywhere he's been.

I'm not willing to say that yet, I don't think they are anything close to playoff team though. I think they are most likely a middle tier team in their current conference.

Travis Hunter already being pushed for Heisman Trophy. I personally don't care but thought it was interesting that a player on a team with a losing record at end of season would be in position to win the award.

Only one individual has every won the Heisman playing for losing team .

Yes, but they churn coaches fairly often because if their success if I'm not mistaken.

Agree, they looked like a less talented well coached team. Colorado is more talented but their concepts on offense are lacking relative to their talent, but it's just built to showcase young Sanders.

That sucks. How big of a name in hockey was he, compared to a football player? I don't follow hockey, just curious, sucks either way.

It occurred to me as I was looking back on this particular exchange that I believe we were talking about two completely different things.

It is my fault that this took this route so I will ask your forgiveness this time. My aggravation and disgust is for the fear mongers that use fear as a tool to oppress, to use it as an excuse to take personal freedom in the name of "safety".

Aa far as the poor people who suffer from moderately rational to severely irrational anxieties, that are ruled and enslaved by their own fear, but do not use their own weakness to oppress others, to try and bind others due to their own debilitating fear...I sympathize with them also.

My mind was on one thing, and yours on another...so once again, I apologize.
