Recruiting Football Talk VIII

In 2023, UT ran 71 plays per game (36 in CFB). The snap speed was 21.2 seconds per play (4 in CFB).

In 2022, UT ran just under 74 plays per game (34 in CFB). The snap speed was 20.2 (2 in CFB).

Not that different on the speed. The difference, I think, was our inability to hit big plays so the offense looked different while not actually being much slower.
Your not factoring in the new clock rules (Nick Saban Tennessee Rule) that shorten the game. We went a lot faster in '22

Colorado looks like a team that's going to struggle to be even in their conference...... That's not a playoff team.
Colorado sucks monkey nuggets. All hype and nothing to back it up. They're basically playing UTC, compare this game with what is going to happen Saturday. Sanders is not a first round qb, if he played in the SEC he'd have five ints a game. Hunter has been allowed to get away with murder, he should have had 10 PI's. Deion is poison, he has been everywhere he's been.

I disagree. He's as good as a prospect than any other top QB coming out this year. He can make all the throws and is accurate. He not as athletic as you would think but he could be a solid starting QB imo.
Yeah, if they make a law that all NFL dbs have be from DII or lower he'll be great.

That's fine. Feel like you want to feel. Doesn't bother me. Time will tell who is right. If he is successful, I'll eat my crow. Doen't change my opinion right now that he's gonna be, at best, a career back-up in the NFL. I don't think he'll be a star.
He will be on an NFL roster till cut down for publicity reasons and then off to the practice squad. He is not near as good as Joe Milton.

I think he is better than several 1st round QBs that have been drafted the last few years. Pickett, Richardson, and Nix to name a few.
Those boys didn't play against middle school teams all year. Sanders sucks against any decent team they play.

I had dinner last night with an old friend who's having a bad go of it due to some chronically bad decisions. For a while, all he wanted to do was complain and blame it all on everyone else, until I told him:

"You can't blame anyone else for the road you're on. It's your own asphalt."
