Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I mean, let's be honest. Colorado is a D-1 school. North Dakota State is not. I don't care how good a D-2 school they are, this game should not be this close. Yet it is. So Deion deserves every bit of criticism thrown at him. If he's gonna talk the talk, people are gonna talk **** when his team fails to walk the walk.
NDSU has won 6 of their last 7 FBS games.

Colorado has had a winning season two times since 2006 (one of those was an 4-3 record in the COVID year) and has been to three bowl games.

I disagree. He's as good as a prospect than any other top QB coming out this year. He can make all the throws and is accurate. He not as athletic as you would think but he could be a solid starting QB imo.
He's got the talent but his decision making can be suspect at times and a lot of the sacks he takes is his fault

I think he has the talent to play QB in the NFL but I also thinks he needs more development. It would be a few years in the league before I think he would get a starting chance unless there's injuries where he's at.

That's fine. Feel like you want to feel. Doesn't bother me. Time will tell who is right. If he is successful, I'll eat my crow. Doen't change my opinion right now that he's gonna be, at best, a career back-up in the NFL. I don't think he'll be a star.

Struggling to separate from an Elite FCS school with a new head coach at home........ Deion has given the gas can to the media and haters to flame him.

Deion went about this rebuild all wrong. He wanted to showcase his son, nothing more. He deserves every critique, every doubter. He crapped on people that cared about the school to bring in clout chasers and "me" guys.

He would have been better served building the team around the core that existed and complimented them with transfers and high school kids.

DO NOT CARE. They're a D-2 school. Deion wants to talk the talk. He deserves the criticism.

Seems judgy

No worries brother. They won’t Venmo it back because it went to their mother’s cancer treatment. So at least it’s for a good cause……….
Unless they're continuing to scam you. How do you know their mother actually has cancer?

His line was str8 ass last year lol. He does hold the ball too long at times looking for the big play. They also call alot of slow developing routes which is poor scheme if your line can't hold up.

I'm not sure what he is to be honest..... And anyone that tells you otherwise is guessing too. Deions entire system is built basically for Sanders to freelance. When the plays hold up and the receivers don't go into bailout mode he looks fairly efficient. But he needs to learn to play within a system. If he can learn/do that he can be a good one..... How good is hard to tell at this point.

I feel "dirty" rooting for Missouri over Mu**ay St tonight..............But.........Go Mizzu
While I see where you’re coming with this since you’re a peay fan also. I’m already feel bad for saying this, you should never root for misery. Please overlook our saltiness of last year game. A reminder here ‘they stayed on bizzness’ from Dork. I hope CJH and whatever team he has when we finally play them again, it’s drilled into their heads. AND I DOUBT THEY ARE ALOWED TO FORGET THAT. POS.

I think he is better than several 1st round QBs that have been drafted the last few years. Pickett, Richardson, and Nix to name a few.

Their first three FBS wins came against Ball State (2006), Central Michigan (2007) and Minnesota (2007). Overall, NDSU is 9-4 against FBS teams, including wins over No. 13-ranked Iowa in 2016 (23-21), Iowa State in 2014 (34-14), Kansas State in 2013 (24-21), Colorado State in 2012 (22-7), Minnesota in 2011 (37-24) and Kansas in 2010 (6-3).

Don’t skew the facts. NDSU has beaten some below avg FBS teams. Which is great for them. They’re still an FCS team. Deion acts like Colorado is the second coming. They “should” be dominating

Yea their offense seems to be all over the place. Their run scheme is terrible. They have really good WRs tho which covers up alot.

Disagree. He is talented but he isn’t as talented as any other QB out there. He wouldn’t start over quite a few big time programs starting QBs.

Pickett is a bust. Richardson will be a bust. Good chance Nix will be a bust. Like I said, Sanders will get drafted. Doesn't mean a damn thing. Johnny Football got drafted. Ryan Leaf got drafted. JaMarcus Russell got drafted. Being drafted doesn't mean they're going to make it.
