Recruiting Football Talk VIII

If you don't think that as an ADULT, you being forced to buckle yourself into a cars seat is not pure authoritarian 🦬💩 then I don't know what to tell you.

I fully 1000% agree with DUI laws because you are protecting the public from the drinker, and I support the laws that enforce children's safety because they are children and thus they are supposed to be protected from harm by their gaurdians..BUT..forcing a grown person to wear a seat belt to supposedly protect them against their own will is absolutely pure 🦬💩..and I hate it with a passion.

It is absolutely authoritarian and was a sign of bad things to come...and it is getting worse. Perhaps your generation is fine with being forced by Big Brother to do things like that...I am not.

Makes local government money and helps insurance companies keep costs down. What's not to love about it for them?

So I was just on the Mizzou board and some of their fans are talking about if Drink has a great year they are worried he may leave for USC or even the Dallas Cowboys… talk about idiots.
Jerry Jones wouldn't hire that idiot. Bill Belichick will be hired after this season as Cowboys HC.

Don’t take away my statin.
Huge family history of cholesterol and heart attacks.
Been on atorvastatin since I was 36. At 61, my cardiac arteries are 100% clear of any plaque.

That’s why I can handle the stress of being a Volunteer. Also can handle the joy of achieving

16-0 🤠
@VolsDoc81TX and others, I certainly erred by speaking in absolutes concerning getting off statins. I am not a physician and am not giving medical advice, although my statement certainly said otherwise.

I do recommend that people research things and decide what’s best for themselves concerning, well, pretty much everything. I’ll say this, nothing will tickle me more than to have my lipids ran in the next couple of months and see that my triglycerides are finally out of the 300’s. If they’re not, well, I’ll do some more digging until I find what works for me.

GBO!

I'd like to again thank the idiot who thought buying black patio furniture was a good idea. . .
Why do they even make it in black?!

We built a 20×20 back porch in the fall of 2019. I couldn't talk my wife out of metal, black patio furniture. It was a fight for about 3 weeks and I finally gave in. Well.....we've had the metal table/chairs/couch for 4 years and have used it 3 times in the summer months. Do you know why?!? BECAUSE IT'S BLACK METAL FURNITURE AND IT WILL BURN A WHOLE IN YOUR SKIN. It was a total waste of money. I went back and bought some light gray, plastic chairs and that's what we sit on.
