Yes..I often forget Bru's catch was preceded by RKs...

I will never understand WTH his problem was last year...I have never seen a guy that is so capable of making huge circus catches just suck to hell-o all year on so many easy throws...with so many of them being for 1st down yardage...he killed sooo many drives last year.

It is mystifying....it still blows my mind.

I have tried to understand and reason it out, and there is really only two options...He either didn't care enough to put in the work to be "the man" like Hyatt and Tillman did the years prior..or..he cared too much and couldn't handle the pressure of being "the man" and got too far into his own head after a couple of early season easy drops.


IMO...it was the 2nd option. I believe he got the dreaded yips.

Heupel is so used to signaling and the whole team knows the play. Will Nico now get the signal and then have to tell/signal the rest of the team? I guess I don't get it without huddling.

As I understand we will still use side line plays, but coaches will call out targets and other items of interest to Nico.

I think the UVA drop got in his head all year.

I have a suspicion that he, Milton and the offense have a much better year if he makes that catch. Just felt like a weird momentum killing play that compounded for that team.

Yep...it was like a couple of plays in that Appy St opener in 2016.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but wasn't that a part of some DA rule instituted a year or two ago? I almost feel like it had to do with which sideline you went out on too (yours or the opponents).

Or maybe it was all a fever dream

When I used to commute and drop my kids off it was all the ED treatment commercials that would kill me. I was thinking does anybodies still work?

When did football players start being allowed to wear shorts???
Ive seen several players, like the kicker for GT were the “pants” stop 3-4 inches above the knee. My son graduated in ‘04 and they wore pants that even had a small pad covering knee cap.

If the runner is moving forward when going out of bounds, the clock stops. If the runner is forced out of bounds moving backwards, the clock keeps going.

SMU is a mess

NV punts (9 sec off the clock) ball out of bounds on the 9. they are penalized and SMU takes it. Then SMU blows a timeout!?!...only for Nevada to down it at the 2 😂

They also lost 20 seconds from the penalized punt and the punt that counted lol

The knee pads are gone. The pants typically go below the knees, but kids roll then up. It's all about speed now.
