Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

lol, it is 100% not returned to the same individual upon retirement. even today, if you make more than 70k at retirement you will NEVER get back the money you put in. if you make about 65k at retirement you have to live to 90 to get your money back.

and what about the friction of the system? Someone has to pay all those SS employees for the work they do. There are more than 60k SS employees. even at a VERY VERY modest 15 dollars an hour that is almost 2 billion a year just for salary alone. probably double that for benefits, and double it again, because they are all making more than 15 an hour.

and your pass thru is running out of money, and they will have to change how benefits work, hardly an efficient system that you can claim is neutral on the books.
We get it. You hate the government.

Point proven.

Trump Gunman Thomas Crooks likely had a Gab account that he used to ‘support’ President Biden, site’s CEO says

The gunman who tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump appears to have used the controversial alt-right favored social media platform Gab to spread messages “in support of President Biden,” according to the platform’s founder.

So the FBI wants to get to the bottom of it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit Trump's ear but do not want to get to the bottom as to why the massive failure on part of the usss.

He was shot at by a gunman that got off 8 rounds. Shrapnel or a bullet or glass... It was close enough.

Wonder if a result of (encouraged by) assassination attempt.

Multiple reports on this. 80 year old man run down from behind in his own yard, forget the following vandalism. Now the murderer (22 year old male) is dead, suicide (they think). Guess the old man should have stayed out of his yard. Right? (Please don’t tell me I should have used blue font.)

MSN

“An 80-year-old man putting up Trump election signs in his front yard was run over by an ATV driver during what police believe was a politically motivated crime spree in a small town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The victim was left in critical condition and the suspect was found dead by suicide the next day.

Local authorities in the swing state condemned political violence in the wake of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during an especially tense election year.

On Sunday evening around 5:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man driving an ATV in a Hancock neighborhood stopped in front of a house with multiple Trump election signs posted in the front yard, Hancock Police Lt. David Outinen told CNN.

The 22-year-old ripped the signs out of the lawn, threw them in the street and drove away on the ATV. Shortly after, the suspect returned on the ATV as the 80-year-old resident tried to put the signs back up in the yard. The suspect veered off the road and hit the 80-year-old from behind, Outinen said.

The 80-year-old was transported to a local hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

Around 7:45 p.m. on the same day, police received a report of a vandalized pickup truck displaying a “thin blue line” sticker, used to show support for law enforcement. A valve stem on one of the tires was cut, leading to a flattened tire, according to Outinen.

Police received another report of a vandalized pickup truck in the area around 8:05 p.m. A shovel was used to smash the windshield of the truck, which displayed a Trump bumper sticker. The truck was left with broken windows, smashed taillights and flattened tires, Outinen said.

Police believe the 22-year-old suspect is responsible for the incidents, after collecting video surveillance of him in all three locations, Hancock Police Chief Tami Sleeman told CNN.

The next day, police received a message from someone at an address in neighboring Quincy Township saying they wanted to “confess a crime involving an ATV driver within the last 24 hours” and asking them to “send someone to pick me up,” the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

Police say when responders arrived at the residence, they found the 22-year-old suspect had died by suicide. Authorities have not identified him. At the scene – less than 3 miles from where the 80-year-old was struck – police found the ATV and the clothes the suspect had worn during the attack on the 80-year-old man, according to the release.

Several electronic devices recovered from the residence where the suspect was found will be searched by computer forensic specialists, according to the sheriff’s office.

There is no indication the suspect knew any of the victims, and he had no prior history with the Hancock Police Department, Outinen said.

The sheriff’s office said it is working with local and state authorities, including the FBI, on the ongoing investigation.”

People really need to condemn violence and also those who support or approve violence as acceptable.
‘I wish he had been shot in the forehead. I have no hate in my soul.’ Anyone see that video of a loving looney?
The media has made it okay to hate, assault and even kill in some people’s minds. Both sides are bad but damn outlets like MSNBC with some of the crap they put out should be held responsible for some of their statements.

So much for toning down the rhetoric... ugh...

Sweet buttered biscuits.

TurboMonty is now in here extolling the virtues of the Social Security program? Color me shocked.

Was anyone really surprised the female director of the SS would not answer any direct questions about a screwup?

An example from earlier period in my life:

Me (examining my now pink underwear): "Did you wash the whites and the reds in the same load?"

DoDO (Director of Domestic Operations): "What has that got to do with anything?"

Me: "Well, my underwear is all pink."

DoDO: "I wish you'd leave your shoes in the carport when they're dirty!"

Me: "Agree, but what about the pink underwear? Did you wash the whites and reds in the same load?"

DoDO: "There is no indication that washing whites and reds together results in pink. Something must have been wrong with the detergent."

So forth and so on. Took about five minutes to get an admission of the obvious answer. And, of course, I was the bad guy.
What’s wrong with pink underwear?

most of what our government spends money on is not relatable to those things.

the first 36% we spend is straight loss.
the next 54% is at best an investment on something we need, but doesn't spur economic growth.
the last 11% is all that we MIGHT get a return on.

we are spending 22% to pay people not to work (SS). no return on investment. just a complete loss.
we are spending 14% on interest. no return on investment, actually this is the cost of all your investing. just a complete loss.
we are spending 13% on medical. no real return here, or at least going to a decent use (similar to a car)
we are spending 13% on national defence. same as medical, no real return, but some use out of it. (a cars worth of guns)
we are spending 13% on medicare. same as medical, yet another car.
we are spending 10% on income security. another car at best.
5% on VA, worth while, but another car we aren't using but got great usage out of.
5% on education, finally something that theoretically gives us a return.
2% on transportation, gives us a return.
1% on community development, gives us a return
3% on "other", lets just say this 100% gives us a return, even though it doesn't.

you are justifying 89% of our debt, on 11% maybe giving us a return. I really don't think you understand economics, or just how exactly our government uses its money. and that 11% that maybe gives us a return is vs the 14% we are spending on INTEREST ALONE. that is a net negative of 3%...

There is no line item for paying off the principal, please tell me what household is paying 14% on just interest payments, and not touching the principal? That is not a household we want to copy.
How in the world do you claim Social Security / Medicare is straight loss? Folks paid for these benefits their entire working careers. There would be an abundance of funds if the government didn’t borrow from the fund. Me and everyone else would have been more than happy to have kept those dollars and invested them ourselves but Uncle Sam knew better.

Invest in what? Another pyramid scheme?

The financial system is not based on money, its based on a money substitute i.e. credit. That credit system must expand at an exponential rate, however humans are unable to supply and/or demand the exponential rate i.e. interest for long... usually a generation or so. We're past midnight with the current system, eventually it will have to reset. SS/MC are just ponzi schemes on top of the real ponzi scheme.

People are lucky it didn't blow up in 2008-2010, thank your lucky stars you got a few more years.

If you have doubts go graph a rate of interest either compounded or simple, you don't have to believe me. Hint, it goes vertical at this point i.e. 60-90 years.

Interest and exponential growth are very easy to understand but somehow humans continue to ignore the Mathematical outcome. Don't say you weren't warned, its in just about every religious text or you could have just graphed it out in high school.

This one is going to be the biggest fireworks in the history of mankind when it goes.

I'm now convinced there was a second shooter that fired nearly simultaneously with the first Crooks shot. It went across the back row and nearly hit several people (multiple people jerk their hands up in reaction to feeling something), the guy in the white shirt and khaki shorts is grazed and falls forward, the bullet hit a lady's purse (or something she was holding), it hits a guys shirt tail, and then hits the guy in the American flag shirt in his right rib area before hitting the handrail. All these events indicate a kinetic event going from left to right parallel to that back row. The man in black was not hit by that shot. He was hit milliseconds later by the shot that grazed trumps ear.

Except those 2 guys to the left that were circled werent hit...

Cullen, like his dozens of prior batshit crazy conspiracy theories, is full of shat...
They reacted to something. Two other people jerked their hands up. A lady's purse went flying and a guy's shirt tail drifted left to right. All simultaneously. All along the back row. There is an obvious kinetic event all flowing left to right culminating in the puff of smoke at the handrail.

Another point: while Almost every person in that back row is reacting to something, nobody else in that bleacher seems to be reacting in any noticeable way. Something happened on the back row that didn't happen in the rest of the bleacher.

And that word in bold is meant to poison the well. It isn't a substantive rebuttal to the facts presented in that video.

They werent hit. All the proof I need....

And that guy is way way out there on some crazy shat.

It's obvious you haven't even looked at this. Everybody on the back row reacts to something while nobody else in the same bleacher appears to react in any noticeable way.
