as far as I have seen she hasn't been cooperative or responsive and that is going to color the reactions that she gets. even in front of the committee, she had nothing, no direct answers.

I also think the real reason both sides are going after her is because they know any protection they have isn't as good as SS, and they are feeling more exposed than previously. puts a little pep in some people's reaction when their butt/ear is on the line too.

There's plenty of time for investigation and for changes to be made, for corrections to occur.

This hearing was for one purpose,m and one purpose only, which is for MAGA-based Republicans to appease their base and imply that this was somehow intentional on the part of the Administration, which is absurd on its face.

The shrieking by Mace was emblematic of the cheap ploy.

I think Mace was out of line as well. But this is the world in which we live now. It is interesting how politics has devolved into flat out bullying your opponent into submission rather than maneuvering legalities. It has gone from chess to dodgeball. Now they don't even pretend to be civil anymore.

Agree with all but the Obama remark, which seems oddly out of place. He did not say someone was "full of sh't" or call out "liar!" during the state of the union, like GOP MAGAs have.

Huh, like Russia Gate, Hillary's e-mail server, Lawfare, J6, etc. ****, they can't even find out the government plants who were at the capital. What you are talking about is insane. There is no investigation. That is clear fiction.

For this country to survive which is very unlikely in my opinion, lots of people in DC need to go to jail.... lots and lots and more need to be fired.

That would be fine if dems weren’t doing the same as republicans. It was definitely bipartisan. What about the DEM using that hearing as a race baiting speach?

I watched it. The questions were rhetorical. She or her office hasn’t submitted what they requested. She knew that but didn’t want to say no on record. So Mace called her on it.

He is making things up as he goes. Obviously didn’t watch the entire hearing. Sometimes it is ok to put the politics aside and be real. Yesterday was both sides being real and transparent as they would behind closed doors.

plenty of time? While the election is going on? while more rallies are held outside?

she didn't need to get into the specifics of what is going to get fixed, they were asking her about the events. and her typical response was she didn't know or have that information more than a week after the event. If this was closer to the event you would have an argument, at this point its clear she failed at her job.

You are talking to a person (LG) that claimed he didn't want a liar in office. So, he goes on to vote for someone that he knew was unfit, and supported people that continued the lie.

He is a classic sociopath. He was on here two weeks ago all worried for Melenia Trump i.e. he said she was going to leave him. He said it was "obvious". He makes up strange things to deflect what he is... he was trying to show that he has empathy. He doesn't care one bit about Melenia, its insane.

It had been 9 days! Cheatle did not know what had been sent in already and what had not.

Don't try to justify this unjustifiable, low rent, low class, piece of garbage that is Mace with some claim that Cheatle was precluding disclosure for something that had just occurred.

you act like the cursing is worse than Trump, and some innocent bystanders, getting shot.

its cursing, no one gives a crap.

and there is one Maga lady who cursed, thats a pretty low threshold to get pissed off about. EVERYONE was calling into question her ability to do her job on national TV, and if she was fit for the job. That's not some big step away from being cursed.
