I think this team is maybe more well rounded in that they have to do more to win. That we keep winning is what makes it special.

That 22 team was Stoopid good... Dominant at the plate. Dominant arms pretty much any outing...

This team can win in a multitude of ways... Can throw a number of pitchers at you, and cam bay for average or power.

I think the lack of experience is what held them back untimely.

I love that this team has leadership that went thru that.
None of that had a dang thing to do with it imo..they lost because...that's just baseball.

And this team in no way is more well rounded than 22 and that is a quantifiable fact...they might win this shindig...but that still won't make them more well rounded.

This team has only lost 2 more games to this point...that is true, but they have not won in the dominating fashion the 22 squad did...they've won a lot more close games.

Now...that all being said..if by saying "well rounded" you mean that this team has had to scrap and claw to win at this years clip, especoally over the last few weeks of the season, and that doing so maybe gives this team a certain intangible-unquantifiable ability to win close games going forward that the 22 team MAYBE didn't have because they had literally squashed everybody all year long...we will see.

I will always believe that 22 team just had a couple of teamwide inevitable "off" games while ND had a couple of their better "on" games...and that's all it took in a 3 game series.

The year that he had the 1.12 ERA…. He was at the top in WHIP and K/9 innings as well…. I didn’t say it was all luck just that ERA is not the best stat to demonstrate how a pitcher actually pitched and his ERA will usually correct itself to be more in line with his WHIP and other predictive stats.

No different if a player has a high BABIP like Ahuna did. It usually indicates that his average is elevated and not a true indicator of that players hitting ability.
You said based on luck a lot of times and I agreed with you about WHIP. ERA is a great stat.

My favorite that is easiest for me to find is whip….. I also like Hard Hit/Barrel %, SO/9. ERA is based on luck a lot of the time. An example is Elder for the Braves…. I had him on my fantasy team most of the year…..His ERA and stats were really good but you could tell that it was not going to last based on his other metrics… In the playoffs… He gave up 6 runs to the Phillies and this year…. his era is over 6. @Ulysees E. McGill
Smh..🤦‍♂️ I ain't arguing thus stupid crap...our team ERA shows that we are a better staff..so far this year in the ganes we have played...than all but 3 teams that are barely better....PERIOD.
