I think the 22 team is one of the greatest College Baseball teams of all time...it was ridiculous. That they didn't win this crapshoot tournament does not diminish that fact one iota for me.

I love this 24 team, and I do believe they are the most well rounded team in CBB this year...but make no mistake, if they played that 22 team 100 games, the 24 team would have a 66% win percentage in my opinion. I think they would average a 3 game series win against the 24 team over a hundred games.

People that don't really know baseball and just started watching Vols baseball maybe late during the 21 season simply do not understand how freaking unreal that 22 team was...I tried to tell everyone back then that what they were watching was not nornal and that would it probably be the best college team they would ever see play.

But all those idiots know is that we didn't win the CWS.

Oh, he was huge last year. I agree that it probably was contentious when Amick got brought in but he leaves the speculation door open for not coming back and competing since he didn’t make a pro club.

But…. I should probably take the high road and not speculate if indeed it’s something else going on with him or his family.

He was a huge reason for our success in 2023 and not taking any of that away from the kid.

I think this team is maybe more well rounded in that they have to do more to win. That we keep winning is what makes it special.

That 22 team was Stoopid good... Dominant at the plate. Dominant arms pretty much any outing...

This team can win in a multitude of ways... Can throw a number of pitchers at you, and cam bay for average or power.

I think the lack of experience is what held them back untimely.

I love that this team has leadership that went thru that.
