I’m not sure it was his doing. They brought Amick in, and ZD didn’t get drafted. No reason to speculate. ZD was great for us last year.

Going into the off-season, I thought he'd be an important part of the team this year.

He returned for his super senior season but didn't play fall ball for "personal reasons" per Vitello. By Jan/Feb he wasn't participating in workouts but was supposedly still on the team. Haven't found any info after those articles.

Lemonis pulled their pitcher after getting the first out who had been DEALING just so he could get a lefty pitcher out there for "matchups" and it was a horrible decision. Walked 2 and the errors started coming. One of the worst outings in big time moments I've ever seen. And they didn't pull him until after he allowed all 8 batters he faced to get on bases.
