So, yes, some of these transfers are seemingly for $$$, but some players may have serious misgivings about their ability to develop in a program. It’s so tricky. Actually two ends of the spectrum…UK Cal had the opposite problem. Constantly filling team with the UPs/DOWNs of immature one and done Freshman at the expense of maturing a TEAM & Culture.

When the pressure amps up the Freshman sometime shoot lights out(think TBA), sometimes Wilt think tournaments.

Either end of the spectrum is fool’s gold.

I’ve been so full of schadenfreude seeing Calipari’s strategy fail. I’m his number one hater.

So if Bigly donors weren’t going to step up with Kellie here what would you do as DW….Let CKJH ride one more year with no Big NIL or try to reboot the coach and NIL?

If the money forced his hand because they lost faith, he had no choice.

Unfortunately none of us truly know we just know that according to many the NIL wasn’t there to be successful and according to rumors the money wasn’t getting there with CKJH driving the boat.

People that make this black and white lack reasoning and common sense problem determination.

Yes and no. She’s on UT staff not CKCs yet if ever…

She’s a coach so ofc she has portal access… she could be recruiting for her next stop 😉

Could you please help me connect your comment to my post. What is your point? I am struggling hard to find where I stated "that rich people give $ to people they don't trust".
