In this portal era, u have to play it year by year. You can get players with 2-3 of eligibility and they can transfer anyway, get the best players you can get and try to win as soon as possible.

I just hope KC realizes that she is coaching at Tennessee and should not settle for the players left after all the D1 programs have taken what they want. That was the case at all the schools she has coached at before.

If she is a good coach she will not need to rely on players from Marshall.

In effect she was ask by reporter after a blow out loss, Evina is the sinking ship sinking? and she said, "yeah, we're are taking on some water. We need to plug some holes." The problem laid with the captain who steered the ship into the ice berg.

I think it would be beneficial to have one assistant from Marshall be on staff to help teach the system.

No we don’t need players to pull other teams hair on purpose. That may work for dirty people, but Pat set a pedigree of sportsmanship, respect and dignity with winning. We don’t need anymore negative attention, especially on players gamesmanship behavior.

Coach Caldwell has managed to fill two successful coaching staffs. I don’t think she needs to take the advice from posters on this thread. Some just may want her to keep former assistants on board so they can tweet them endlessly and be noisy. Because I haven’t ever seen this much support before for them. If she keeps them great. If not then i trust she had a reason to seek staff members that fit her philosophy.

All the assistants should be let go. A new head coach, especially one with a lot to prove, doesn't need assistants from the old regime looking over her shoulder or questioning things that differ from what Kellie did. Keeping assistants, especially the one in charge of recruiting, should be sent packing. She doesn't need Tennessee's way, it has to be her way.
