Wouldn't defend his post-season record, just his overall body of work as the best thing UT fans have ever seen.

He's set us up for long-term brand recognition and success, whenever he chooses to retire.

2018-Current

2018 and 2019 were udder nonsense...first a screwjob by the refs and then a screwjob from the church

2021 and 2022 were disappointing

2023 we shot par for a 4 seed (only a 15% chance of making the Elite 8).

As a 2 seed this year, the historical odds are 62% chance of making the SS and a whopping 45% chance of an EE. Adjust as you like...

Yes, sir. I know he probably won't pitch, this year, but who cares. Looks like he is going to steal more bases, too
Yea Ohtani will DH mostly, play RF later in season.

Dodgers and Braves are in a league of their own in National League.

Cubs or Reds should take the Central.

I think 2022 is the one that broke me.

Probably. Whoever does these polls are just really stuck on Florida, no matter how badly they lose.
I mean, college baseball isn't even big enough for AP or coaches polls or any other kind.

The only poll folks see is the "D1Baseball.com" rankings. Done by that Kendall Rodgers guy and like 5 other writers lol.

Wouldn't pay much mind. All that matters is the committee at postseason time.

The Reds were really fun to watch, last year. But, I'm a die hard Cubs fan, so I'm picking the Cubs. In the immortal words of Harry Carey, "I'm a Cubs fan and a Bud (in more ways than one) man"

It stunk, but folks were really underestimating Michigan. They came in hot and with the size to bother us. But they had eleventy hundred losses, so it seemed nonchalant.

All the more reason I'd rather just fast forward to the teams that will get our attention off the bat. We seem better in those games.
