But UNC gets the blue blood perk
Well...they won 2 games and lost in the championship.

Neither of the 3 teams could afford an early boot assuming one of them would get to their championship game at minimum.

Once we lost we really needed both others to lose their game 1.

If this bracket is right, I like it:

Lol they're hoping for St Peter's to do to Tennessee what they did to Kentucky

Out of curiousity (not saying you're wrong) but why are folks worried about Creighton?

Their win over Marquette: Marquette was literally down 2 of their best players that game

Their win over UConn: here's a quick history lesson on UConn playing in true road games...also LOL @ Memphis

Temple's run in the American, if they win today, would be even more improbable than NC State's

They were a complete dumpster fire a week ago. Then boom everything just decided to click.

This time of year is so insane!
Crazy. 7-18 as of Feb 15th. Now 16-19 and 1 game from a tourney bid

I've already asked off vacation Tr/Fri...my loins are pepperred for madness

Plus their coach isn't very good come tourney time. I know they made an elite eight last year but he's got little history of success outside of that. They don't scare me

This present bracket frenzy and national excitement indicate that it is absolutely false that it is the fans who want to see the same ole privileged "bluebloods" at the top all the time. People want to see wide-open competition and parity.

Part of the NCAA scam is the condescending way that they and networks act like they "need" their classist notion because "fans are too stupid" to understand anything other than that "the same brand names are always best teams," in order for the dumb fans to know when to watch or when a game is good. It's supposedly a "requirement" for marketing. It's a scam in the service of prejudice and manipulation.

We are getting screwed today
At this point I've completely given up on such concepts.

The years we jump for joy, we run into some weird team like Michigan...then we shake our heads at Duke and beat them only to lose to random azz FAU that nobody cared about it.

Like someone said yesterday, we seem to show up vs the big teams anyway.

At this point I'm completely draw-agnostic.

Their core from the EE run last year is still there, mostly seniors and a JR. good offense with really good Guard play and a good 7ft center

This is a bit sentimental, so please VN friends give me the space to share

It is the week of The Players PGA golf tournament

In 2021 my younger brother's 21 year old son Ryan died in a car accident. Wear your damn seatbelts, morans

My brother spread some of his ashes in the bunker of 17 at Sawgrass

I have played the course since and cried like a little bitch when I played 17

Who am I kidding? I cry every time they show 17 in the TV coverage. No parent should ever burry a child. That day broke him

Who cries watching televised golf???

Me

😢

Elite 8 at with that setup or that’s pretty disappointing to say the least
