The Midwest with Charlotte for the first two rounds and Detroit for the 2nd weekend is ideal for travel purposes.

I won't freak out, regardless. At some point, we are going to buck the trend. I don't feel as good about it as I did a week and a half ago, but we are a great team.

They should get rid of conference tournaments and give teams automatic bids for winning their regular season conference championship. Conference tournaments make the regular season of small conferences pointless. Since whoever wins the conference tournament is the only team that makes the tournament.

I have always agreed with this. Body of work should be far more important than an endurance shoot out in which half the participants don't care or have zero chance of winning it.

That post takes me back to when they absorbed the very functional women's AD into the very dysfunctional men's AD. So far, the results have been exactly as predicted and the attitude expressed in the post you're addressing is a lot of the reason why.

The attitude expressed in that post was expressed by the LV forum. I agree that their attitude is horrible.

It does not matter how we are seeded. It matters more how we play. For two straight games we have had nothing to play for and the other team had everything to play for. Time to flip the script. Time to fight. From Saturday, we know we have two warriors - ZZ and JM. We need everyone else to step up.

SEC did not play a conference tournament for many years and restarted it in 1979. Too much TV revenue.

Conference tournaments only help the bubble teams that win in them . They also help the idiot conferences make more money by putting star players at risk playing in games that really don’t matter for the better teams

I'm big in to trends. They're trending down. There's something going on with the psych of this team. I hope I'm wrong but those trends are hard to turn around. If they were competitive, close games, I would feel better. I realize they closed against KY but they were really outclassed. MSSU was about as bad a beating as I've seen in a while. Maybe they prove me wrong but if I were betting, I'd expect an early exit.
