There's no evidence extra rest helps teams in the tourney
I will admit, I gave up on them too soon, but you have to admit the backend of the schedule looked strong after the MSST loss and made it look almost impossible. You also said they couldn’t win the conference a long time ago.
I hope you’re wrong about this too (but I’m concerned you’re right about this one).
I've also noticed this. Aidoo has gotten kinda punked in all our losses except KY. Dickinson - Kansas, Edey - Purdue, Bacot - UNC then State x2, TAMU, and USC all have super physical play in the paint and pushed him around a bit. He's a great player but when he's not playing with physical purpose and "I'm taking what I want" attitude it's hard for us. I think he's arguably the biggest key to our success going forward. Dalton is going to get his, but it might be more important if Aidoo is giving us 15-20pts and 10reb.This is what happens when you don't have any legit big guys. We got dominated in the post. Plain and simple. All of our losses are to physical teams with legit Bigs. Teams that win it in March have exactly that. We'll see what happens.
