Hilarious. Politicians change their values more often than my wife changes her mind about what she wants to eat, even though she “doesn’t care where we eat”. People have such short memories and attention spans that it doesn’t matter though and that’s why people like Trump believe all press is good press. Even if you get negative press, most people will forget the details within a year or so and all they’ll remember is Trump was in the news a lot. That’s also why the MSM has been in overdrive the last several years trying to keep these Trump narratives alive, whether true or not. They don’t want people forgetting.

Interesting. So when you say evangelical, this is what you mean. To me, it his sounds like the mark of a serious Christian.

More interesting, I’ve never gotten the same answer to this question, even when I ask someone who identifies as an evangelical. It seems it’s more of a label than a meaningful term. I say that because there doesn’t seem to be a common understanding of what it means.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Trump is a serious racist. Years ago, he spent weeks yelling that 5 black kids in NYC should be hanged after they were arrested for assaulting a woman in Central Park. Turns out they were all innocent. Trump yelled the longest and the loudest about Obama not being an American and that he wanted to see his birth certificate. He insulted black reporters during his presidency. He hates dark-skinned people of all kinds. His father attended at KKK rally and I think was arrested there.

Alright, how hard is it to understand that Trump is not a racist. You can believe it all you want to. It is left wing propaganda. Trump was never a racist before he ran for office. He was often praised by his generosity by leaders in the black community prior to running for office. You don’t see that stuff on the internet very often because the media doesn’t want you to see it. He did a lot of good things for the black community as president. It is not an issue. They have called the man anything and everything they can think of. They have tried to destroy him any way they can. And in a lot of ways he may have set himself up for persecution. That still does not make it right. Is he a saint? No he is not. Is he a jerk, maybe a little combative, yes. That doesn’t bother me. He calls it call it like he sees it. And both sides of the aisle don’t like it because those clowns in Washington are not getting it done and we are all drowning. They fiddle while Rome burns. He did a good job his first term. Some things he did I liked and some things he did I didn’t like. No president is going to please everybody all the time. Just the way it is. But in my mind we would be a lot better off with him in the White House than what we have now which is an absolute disaster. I can respect not voting for Trump. But I cannot see voting for Biden under any circumstances. He is awful.

Lots of accusations about racism... let's break them down a bit.

1. Did Trump actually say they "should be hanged" or did he call for the death penalty (one is certainly more racial than the other). Also, there were many other law enforcement and government officials who initially believed the 5 kids were guilty.

2. How is claiming someone is not American racist?

3. Trump has insulted all kinds of reporters, not just black ones, so why would that be considered racism when he is treating them all the same?

4. Yes... Trump's father attended a KKK rally (as did many other non KKK members). Yes... Trump's father was arrested and was later discharged (as were other non KKK members). But even if his father was somehow involved in the KKK, if one is going to be considered racist based on what family members have done, then you are looking at a world of racists. The odds are that would even make you a racist if we looked at your family history.

I'm not a Trump defender, and personally think he's an arrogant azzhole, but your accusations of racism seem to be nothing more than your personal opinion.

I never claimed he was racsit. I believe he has similar biases that most men his age including Biden have. I think he clearly doesn't mind to be associated with racist groups. Otherwise he would have denounced them when given the opportunity. Very similar to Biden cozying up to Antifa by using his bs line about it only being an "idea."
