What he did to Luka in practice was a good thing. Team leader wasn't holding the expectation/standard in practice. You want to see someone bold and brave enough to call him out.

Who wouldn't want Vescovi or Gainey or Mashack to call out Knecht if he's sleep walking through practice?

The flip of the coin is when Grant did that to Jimmy Butler in the playoffs and Butler took over the game and series. You've got to know when and where is appropriate.

I think people (not you) are missing the point in that story about him and Luka at practice. Why was Luka sleep walking through that practice? Maybe this was just a one off practice and Luka is normally an ultra competitive person even in practice…or, maybe Grant saw a team leader consistently not giving enough at practice and called him out. If it’s the latter, and the Mavs shipped him out to keep Luka and others happy, then they just got rid of the cure and not the cancer. You don’t win championships by walking around saying “don’t poke the bear”… **** that, poke him every day. Get the best out of him every day. Make him compete every day. Whatever that takes. Idk enough about Lukas mentality and competitiveness to know if this was the case to be fair, but between that story and the things that were said after they traded Grant… it sounds like there were some players there that didn’t like being pushed. Jmo.

One of the only NBA games I've been to, Baron Davis pickedAI's pocket 1 on 1 at half court to take the lead toward the end of the game and the Hornets ended up winning.

That and standing next to Tim Duncan and David Robinson in pregame (and later having the admiral dive on to our table to save a bad pass) are really my only 2 fond NBA memories.

UNC lost to GT (14-18 record), Clempson (21-10) and Syracuse, (they lost by 36 to Syracuse). We beat Syracuse by 17.

UNC is 25-6
We are 24-7, in a tougher conference.

UNC beat us at their place. That's really the only thing better, they've done. ACC is down, so I don't get why they are a #1 seed and we ain't.

The talking heads' discussion had been Arizona #1 over TN, now it's UNC should be ahead of TN.

The goal posts get moved a lot when the VOLS are involved..... in anything.
