No...they were constantly out of position, and it was mostly one guy...which made them look slow.

Didn’t want to call out the “one” again lol. He got beat to death enough during the season. Point is our guys made him look a lot faster than he actually is.

Speaking of smash-mouth games and rock fights...

Talking head (Josh Pastner, who played at Arizona) opens the Arizona halftime show saying that Arizona can play as well as anybody in transition offense. They are fast. But their Achilles heel is half-court games with physical play, "grinder and smash mouth." He says it reminds him of Duke last year running into Tennessee who, he as he puts it, "punched Duke in the mouth." He says Pac-12 teams don't encounter those kinds of games like teams do in the Big 12, Big East, and SEC.

I wish they included his intentional free throw miss then putback for the win against UK. I listened to that with John Ward and have never seen it until I just looked it up and found it. It’s as improbable as John Ward made it sound…

Edey is a HUGE slow uncoordinated dude that gets away with everything and conversely gets tons of foul calls thereby getting tons of FTs.

He is only anything because of his size....if he was 6'10 he would be sitting at the end of a bench with the other walk-ons at some mid school.

Nothing will change my mind about that.

I heard it from the radio too and still to this day have never seen a replay of it.

Remember that one year, wasn't too long ago, when the state of TN had like 5 or 6 teams in the Tourney? UT, Vandy, Memphis, AP, Chattanooga, and maybe one more(?)...

Getting choked up making the slide show for my son's Eagle ceremony. Looking at cub scout pics and thinking he's about to be in college and serving in National Gaurd later this year. Goes too damn fast.

I remember that devoted vol fan crying and asking me if the vols would ever be good again. Now he's celebrating another SEC title in basketball.
