I can't remember his name...the poster who campaigned for Pete. Nice guy. Good contributer. Still posts in the FFSo, you voting in the primary (if allowed) is you living up to this conviction
The fact that I find that revolting only means that I try my best to change and/or negate those decisions to the best of my ability.
I say, kudos to you. You are doing all you can, unless you are going to donate large sums and campaign for Trump's opponents. Side note, I think I've only read one person who participates in the PF who has admitted to working for a campaign.
I thought this whole conversation pretty much revolved around the thought process (or lack thereof) of the American voter. If there is a Romney type running and they are failing to connect with the voters in the primary, then fretting over it on your end isn't going to do anything at all except give you worry lines.
Trump got almost as many votes as the entire Dem list of candidates (756,851 v 762,697) and 138,425 more than Biden.
Oof.
I thought we got on this kick by talking about how all the candidates use bombastic proclamations. Then degrees of despicableness was brought in. Then we morphed about lamenting it's Trump again and who it should be in his stead.I thought this whole conversation pretty much revolved around the thought process (or lack thereof) of the American voter.

Point is, the nominee no matter how despicable is the choice of the primary voters and no suggestions will change that.
Yeah, but that is not unusual at all when you have an incumbent President, basically running unopposed .... with the presumptive nominee from the other party, still facing a challenger (albeit, a weak one).not voting at all is the problem for Biden
Trump got more primary votes than Biden did. Does primary turnout predict election turnout? Not per se but the GOP turned out in larger numbers and even with Trump getting 2/3rds his total exceeded Biden's.
No way to spin the Michigan results as anything but bad for Biden.
I don't think we can read too much into that. Luther might be right for the first time and there are a whole bunch of Dems voting in the R primary wanting Trump to be the nominee.

There was a well-organized protest vote on the Democratic Party side (uncommitted), but it shouldn't be hard to rally their faction of support against a candidate who wants Muslims banned from entering the country.
Biden is an incumbent President who is running unopposed. You are making way too much out of that. There was really no need to vote for Biden in the primary. I'm not wasting my time on it.even if all the protest votes went to Biden he still trailed Trump.
no way to spin this as a positive outcome for Biden
