I heard an average wedding cost, including ceremony & reception, is like $30K.

My other daughter got married in Oct. '23. So two weddings in 5 months.
Luckily, my girls, their husbands, and their husbands' families were all more than able and willing to help out.
We more or less went thirds.

My other daughter got married in Oct '23, so 2 wedding in 5 months.
We gave each girl a set amount and said the rest was on them. Luckily, they, their husbands, and their husbands' families were all willing and able to pitch in.

Good stuff McD...and I don't even like or eat the pineapple. Done properly it makes the cake really moist though and soaks up some of the juice. We have a neighbor lady that cant cook worth a D, i never eat her food unless its PUCake. She nails that 1 thing though. Pretty sure she was raised by wolves/lower primates.

Technically speaking, because of the bromelain in pineapple it's digesting you as you're eating it. You're smart not to tangle with it.

I have never had either myself. My wife makes some insane desserts though so i usually just eat what she made at church functions (bc I dont know the sanitary conditions in other folks houses and people are weird. Plus, i am crazy ) My favorite is probably peanut butter brownies. I can eat a whole pan in a day or so. Thats a couple sticks of butter, couple pounds of sugar and a big jar of pnut butter...and some other stuff Im sure so roughly 6 million calories. Wish i had some right now....

Oh man, you have to try some Chess pie, preferably from scratch/homemade. You'll never be the same again....in a good way!

The terrain there isn't conducive either. Lots of arroyo and natural features that make constructing control lines nearly impossible. And our guys were reporting spotting over a half mile or more from the head.

The cold front wasn't helping matters either. Just moving the fire from one direction to the other.
