An ironic statement from a person that is seriously trying to argue the position that to be "anti-Putin" in Russia, equates to being "pro-west" and worthy of being murdered by the state.
Keep it up though, it's fun to watch.
I have never said it was worthy to be murdered by the State. Please quote me supporting that.
This is why you and most of the mouth breathers in this thread are pathetic. You cant have a rational debate without making false accusations and restating my position so it fits your narrative.
How many times did you ask "what was Putin supposed to do"?
Not sure why you are trying to backpedal from your support of Putin's actions as a dictator that has killed numerous political rivals and journalists now, your position on the matter is crystal clear.
So you're drawing the line at supporting Putin murdering Navalny, but fully support Putin attacking and jailing the people who are publicly mourning him?
First off, I think it is far more likely the West murdered Navalny than Putin but the most likely scenario is he just died due to Russian jails being tough to survive.
I neither support nor condemn Putin arresting protesters or passing laws that force assemblies to be approved by Russian govt. Much like I dont support or condemn Russia's special military operation. In both cases I understand Russia/Putin are in a tough unwinnable position.
That is why I ask, if you were Putin, what would YOU do? You would allow western assets into your Country knowing their priority is sowing seeds of discontent and ultimately overthrowing your govt Allow them free assembly? This isnt a cut and dry issue, IF your goal is to protect the Russian people and Russian culture.
Putin is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt.
Lol, ah the "evil west" killed Navalny? This is really what you are going to fall back on after waxing poetic about how Navalny was part of a plot by the "evil west" to overthrow (not-a-dictator) Putin?
I have to wonder if there are multiple people that use your account to post nonsense on here, or you really do struggle to keep track of the garbage that you type out.
Again, I dont need my statement restated by you to fit your narrative. I said it was more likely the West killed him than Putin but the most likely case is he actually just died.
No one in this thread has given any reason why Putin would have Navalny killed when he is tucked away in a remote Siberian prison. The West has far more to gain than Putin (which I laid out yesterday and no one has rebutted).
You've substantiated none of your claims, and Occam's Razor says your theory is a stretch by even the most basic of any logical premise.
In spite of being "tucked away" as you like to characterize a polar hell hole whose sole existence is to hasten the death of Russians, Navalny never stopped speaking out against Putin's not-a-dictatorship.
It's fairly obvious to everyone except yourself that only death was going to stop Navalny from speaking out against Putin.
Yet here at his death, people are risking arrest to mourn him, in spite of him being jailed and unable to speak out except at his court hearings prior to being killed by Putin.Stop Navalny from speaking out? Who is Navalny talking to? Prison officials? Being indignant in Court? You are way over playing his popularity and reach.
Then why put forth the absurd notion that the West killed him?
Because the West has far more to gain from his death than Putin. So, IF he was killed it is far more likely it was done by the West. Again, the most likely scenario is he died from being in a crappy remote Siberian prison and he wasnt killed by the West or Putin and it was just bad timing for Putin.

Two things:Guess not. The question for you is, a) the US brags about fomenting color revolutions around the world, to overthrow regimes they do not like and b) the US also openly states it's desire to overthrow Putin.
If you are Putin, what do you do? Freely allow pro-western groups to operate within Russia, sowing seeds of unrest or crackdown harshly?
If you are being honest, there isn't a good answer. Even in the US, our freedom has been used against us by irresponsible shady groups who operate behind the scenes to poison our cultural and political well. There has to be a responsibility component.
